An absolutely atrocious place to work. Well... let me rephrase that. An absolutely atrocious place to work if you're looking for anything other than a dead end job. They will do everything in their ability to keep you from earning the money expected to perform the job they demand you do. As an operator, it probably isn't that big of a deal, although they are still paid 85% of what any operator at any other plant or facility in the area makes, but as technical staff, you are expected to work and give 200% and get paid for 50%. You won't get reviews, you won't get raises, and you won't progress in any type of advancement unless you are besties with upper managment. I spent 3 years at SL and all I got was a bunch of lousy t shirts... lol... and a 3 dollar an hour raise to quit.

The job is easy and the pay matches that ,its one of the lower paying factories around the area. If ur willing and able to get overtime u can make up for the differnce in other paychecks. But for me i was told id have much overtime as id ever want ,and thats not true unfortunately. Far as ppl ,3rd shifts great. Just not like factories im use to working at typically hours are there if u can and will do the work ,but 5d is all u may get to work here or now 4d a week. Some ppl may like that but for me its not what i expect out offactory jobs

My husband works there and is there faithfully, on time and a lot of times he's there early and stays late every time he's asked, they had him training ppl at three months of his employment. They are now saying he has ten points against him when they said he only had 8 1/2 a few days ago, needless to say he got wrote up. Mind u he has not called in, been late nor has he left early in months, and he has only called in a total of 3 times the whole 8 months he's been there. Then on top of that they didn't pay him for 5 hours overtime that plainly shows on his check stubs he worked. They treat their workers like crap. No wonder they have such a high turnover rate

A decent place to work pay was ok when I worked there heard it went up.

I work here. It is a very good place to work, pretty good pay. Decent people for the most part.

It's my favorite company and there are so many people I know. It's always fun. I love the familiar atmosphere with the kind people.

Delivered load here. Nice people. I got here the night before my appt and parked overnight in a dock. The sign at the first entrance says shipping and 2nd entrance says recvg. But truth is the 1st entrance was recvg and 2nd entrance was shipping. (10/19/20)

I'm a driver delivered parts no one in receiving. I walk to the front and asked where the clerk was. Well they couldn't speak English. What a crapy place

Separated me and my ride. Then bitched at me for not being able to come in early or stay over and other schedule issues!

Entered main entrance into large austere room. In said room was a guard desk and a security guard. Upon inquiring where I could get an application he pointed to the back wall and said take application off wall there were four booths fill out and drop in the box. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

Bad place to work. Depressed overworked employees and if you are a good employee you will be screwed over on a regular basis. If you have monthly dr appointments you can't work here or you will be fired. The only reason I gave one star cause I had to to leave a comment.

This is the most god-awful place to work at if I could give a 0 star I would but I had to give at least one ...it is nothing but judgemental dumb, ignorant, and just down right slow people who are inconsiderate of other people's business... If I say I don't want to talk about my private life... Its not effecting my work ... No ... That's what I thought... Now I calling my people all up in my business.... there is nothing but meth head pill head ignorant people that work here all the supervisors can go to hell I truly have never said this but I hate this place..

They make headlights and tail lights and a few other parts for cars.

It's a big warehouse for tail lamps, that SL makes for cars and trucks? Not open to the public, I think?

I have vary good bosses that treat you with respect
