I LOVE COMING HERE. It has been I believe 5 years I have come here and it s every summer I enjoy it so much no electronics, in the wilderness, and it s so peaceful. I make friends, have fun and get away from home! Perfect summer vacation!!!
Skye Farm is a fantastic Christian summer camp for kids. My granddaughter has attended camp here for the last 5 years. She always comes home with excitement and lots of great stories of adventure. She enjoys the different programs, staff and the entire camp experience. They really work hard to keep a nice program, with great staff and spend much time in upkeep and adding on to the camp yearly.
LOVED Skye Farm as a kid, and while it has changed a lot, it was still an AMAZING experience coming with my family as a retreat/getaway during this crazy time. If we have to social distance, why not in the woods? The staff were great, making arrangements ahead was easy, and we had everything we needed with very little interaction. Very well done on all safety protocols. Great hiking, had a great afternoon out in boats on the lake, and of course campfires with provided wood. We are going back again!
This place has so many memories for me! As a child that was going a safe haven for me. Seeing all the photos of place I just can t express my love for the place! Thank you so much the good memories and the staff that keep me safe!
Skye Farm is dear to my heart. I have such good memories of being a counselor there in early 2000 s. It s a beautiful spot, lovely little lake, a simply ridiculous amount of felled paper birch for getting campfires started. Just visited during 2020 and happy with precautions taken for safety. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.
My camper had a great time this year, and is already looking forward to next year! My only criticism - I saw a lot of teenagers/young adult counselors at check in. Which is great! I love that they have counselors who are a bit closer in age to the kids vs. a bunch of older people. HOWEVER it would have eased my mind to see a few more "seasoned" counselors hanging out.
