Singleton's Store

The people are nice and they'll have what you need. (This is a true general store that sells food, liquor, clothes, shoes, hunting needs, gifts, etc.) The meat selection is particularly good, and they have some local cheeses, produce in season, ciders, etc.

Always stop here for their pepperoni. Great custom meat counter. Local foods plus guns, whiskey, ammo, fishing gear and clothing. A must visit place. Don't miss the honey bee hive!

The sign says it all: Guns, Whiskey, Ammo! A great general store with a friendly staff and a huge range of products. Even if you just want to browse, the interesting rustic displays make stopping here quite the experience. If you're unsure want you want, just ask for Danielle, the manager, she is super friendly and will pick out your dinner, sides, salads and the perfect craft beers to make sure your meal is a great experience. And they smoke their own meats out back!! I love this place.

My SO brought me to Vermont for the first time and this is the first place he took me JUST for the beef jerky. SO good and such a quaint little store. Will 10/10 be back.

A great general store with everything you'd like. Hunting, fishing, groceries, home made sausages, burgers, state liquor store (I don't drink) fully loaded deli and tables outside to eat at.

Very interesting. Have not been to a store like this. The collections are the best. Vintage guns and taxidermy just make you stop and wander around the store. The variety of Vermont distillery products is comprehensive. You can smell the smoked meat when you enter. I stop here every time I'm in the area.

A small business that knows and meets its customers needs. Well stocked selection including fruit, vegetables, other staple food items, and even adult beverages. I stopped in looking for strawberries and was pleased not only that they carried them, but that the strawberries turned out to be some of the best tasting we have had in months.

Go clothes shopping & food you can't get elsewhere, all under same roof. Love the quality meats.

A local shop where you can get the best cheddar cheese from Cabot and the smoked pepperoni is off the charts. They have everything from steaks to guns, they have beer and liquor so if they don't have it you don't need it

I went here in uniform after attending a funeral in Cavendish VT. They didn't charge me for my sandwich and it was an awesome sandwich! It was a super classy way to show their appreciation for my profession. They also have an awesome dog named Smokey!

One of best sandwiches I have ever had came straight out of the deli. I came up from Florida for a two week visit and went there 3 times to buy lunch. The lunch comes with chips and a pickle all wrapped together. One of the times there we went early to grab our lunch for later and had some wonderful hot coffee and the people there are very friendly. Another thing to pick up there is the smoked cheddar, it is to die for!! I really wish I could blink and be there again for their cheese and yummy sandwiches. If I could give it more stars I would! Thanking them for taking great care of me...thank you!

One of the best country stores I've been to and one of the only ones I frequent. They have amazing sandwiches, great smoked foods, a variety of quality meats, maple products, and tons more.

Wonderful local and handmade selections. Great beer and cheese choices... The meat section is out of this world with yummy stuff! The only thing I would say negative is that the prices are steep, but you kind of expect that at a place like this. Nice place to stop for a treat

Small store big prices. Groceries, beer (alchemist), alcohol, outdoor clothing, ammunition (ammo is cheaper down the street at Chester hardware). Cool stop, skip the jerky. Great pepperoni.
