Simco Construction, Inc.

In Nov 2023, I contracted Simco Contracting for a $150K, 900 sq. ft. addition. At their suggestion, the scope expanded to $300K for a two-level suite, garage, driveway with sewer relocation, and new deck. I paid $90K down in Nov 2023. In Mar 2024, Simco began demolition without permits, removing my deck, parking, French drain, block wall, and part of a concrete retaining wall—causing drainage failure, hazardous ponding, and business losses from lost parking. After city approval in Jun 2024, Simco refused to proceed without $35K more for sewer and excavation already in scope. I paid the added costs, but work never resumed. Simco also failed to replace shingles and retaining walls, leading to cancellation of my homeowner’s insurance. As of Aug 2025, no construction progress has occurred, property damage persists, I remain uninsured, and I continue to suffer financial and business losses due to their breach of contract.
