The food is still reasonably priced, the portions are great. The people are courteous, mostly knowledgeable. Between the map and the staff we always knew how to get where we wanted. Water park was great. They lazy river was more like death by a thousand inter-tubes, but at least we could chill and get an adult beverage in the middle :)

Bro. BRO! Silverwood blew my socks OFF. Later we had to go looking... in the trees, in the parking lot, across the highway. We never found them, bro. I am sockless to this minute. Leave your socks at home bro. And chow down on some of Chuck Wagon John's barbecue, which is all you can eat bodacious. Get you a Chuck Wagon John happy smile. BRO!

The lunch they served was cold, the hot dogs looked at least a day old and I was happy to just walk out of there with a stomach ache. What they served was disrespectful to the companies that pay to have them make lunches in appreciation of their employees. I for one will never disrespect my employees by purchasing a sub standard experience for them by a company that simply is trying to make the most money possible with no regard for the customers they are serving.

I loved this place so much. There was so much to do. I'm a heavier girl and my fiancee a heavier man and there was only one ride he did not fit on it was great. Loved every ride we went on. Everyone was super clean and wiped down the rides in between riders. The waterpark was super fun too no long lines in any part of the park. We got a huge elephant ear for $5 and found yummy caramel apples too!

The theme park rides and water park rides were a lot of fun. However, the lines were very long (20 - 40 minutes for many). There are numerous inefficiencies for how they load/unload people which adds to significant delays. The magic/illusion show is incredibly good as well!

Great place to go for the day with kids! Mine are 11 and 13 and they had a great time. Not a huge place so one day was good but it was easy to see why some stay for 2. Ticket prices were ok at $50+ each but food was a great value with giant funnel cakes for $5 and large tender baskets for $7(ish). Very clean and lots of available staff.

ABSOLUTELY NO SAFETY PROCEDURES IN PLACE FOR COVID BESIDES HAND SANITIZER AT A FEW RIDES. The park was PACKED and they were not enforcing social distancing at all. Maybe 1 out of 100 people had a mask on. The lines were insane long I m talking hour and a half to get on a ride. We waited in line forever for the corkscrew and them were informed that they were shutting down for an hour. Then we waited in line for the rapids boat ride and there was an issue that caused a long delay on that one as well. The rides themselves were great it just felt very unsafe as far as being exposed to the virus. They were not sanitizing any of the rides..... not once. I checked the website before we came and it said they were opening with all of these safety procedures but none of them were happening. Disappointing for sure after driving all the way from La Grande, OR.

Either this place is struggling, or there's a lot of greed milking this place for all it's worth, and/or management simply lost its edge. There's was the typical overpriced items, but the biggest issue that I had though was the waiting. I understand there's others too, but 30+ minutes practically everywhere? One ride in particular at the Water Park was torture waiting in while you get sprayed with cold mist. It had a lot of people just leaving the line. To really top it off though. Was the food and drink stands. It was way understaffed, and the service was fairly slow. There just isn't enough to meet the Demand. What this place could really use is a Food Court that is expandable and an area for Adults (21+). Other than that, the rides are great, given the overkill waiting.

Couldn t have a had a better time at scarywood this year. Silver wood transforms into the most scary haunted theme park in the Northwest in the weeks leading up to Halloween.

My wife and I make two trips a year to silver wood. Once for the summer park/water park and then again in the fall for Scarywood. It s the most fun you ll have. Scary rides, scary characters and lots of spooky sights!

Must get there before opening and stay all day of your gona do everything or get a good parking spot. I'd recommend the two day pass and camp there or near by. It's almost impossible if you have little ones that go to the kiddie area and still ride the big ones and go to the water park.

This is an ok place if you want to wander around and purchase substandard overpriced food. However, if you actually want to ride a coaster be prepared to wait...a very long time for each ride. With constant delays for repairs and long lines, you will wait 2 hours for one ride. I can't speak to the water park as we bailed 5 hours and two coasters later. If you're looking to ride roller coasters, save your money and rent a ski boat for the day.

I also want to emphasize that we went during the week, not on a weekend.

Written 07/30/20. Don t bother going in 2020. Rides take 3-5 times longer than usual to board as they take at least 5 minutes in between each ride to individually clean each chair with a wipe. In the sweltering heat, even on water rides where the entire vehicle is submerged in chlorine water patrons just wait as teenagers take a cloth and just wipe around for a while. It s actually one of the most ridiculous things I ve ever witnessed in my life on this planet. If anyone from Silverwood is reading this- WAKE UP!

Its out tradition to go to Silverwood theme park twice a year. We generally go in June for Silverwood and their water park Boulder Beach and in October for scary wood. Unfortunately due to the virus there wasn't any scarywood this year. They opened up one scary ride after 6 pm, but that was all they could do this year. This theme park is always fun. Its not overly expensive and is a good family theme park.
