Silent pool

I’m thoroughly impressed by this gin from Silent Pool in Albury. It’s a sophisticated spirit meant to be savored rather than mixed. The texture is silky and creamy, and there’s barely any harsh burn. The flavor profile is intricate, with new notes emerging with every sip.

The packaging at Silent Pool misses the mark—the label feels a bit flimsy—but the vodka itself is genuinely good.

Silent Pool’s vodka in Albury is certainly smooth with a distinctive, subtle character that avoids the harshness found in many competitors. However, the value feels questionable; at £20, it hits what feels like its upper price limit, especially considering it was purchased during the summer season.

Had a wonderful experience with this gin back in Cardiff earlier this year. It’s a truly delicious spirit that makes for a lovely drink. Definitely deserves a full five stars.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Silent Pool, but this spirit completely exceeded my hopes. It has such a lovely floral aroma with layers of complex flavors that really stand out. It has easily become a new favorite for me.

I’m absolutely hooked on this spirit from Silent Pool. It’s perfect for a gin and tonic with Mediterranean tonic and an orange twist, but it really shines in a gimlet served over plenty of ice. A real treat for any occasion.

I haven't tried the glassware, but having purchased the gin, I imagine it serves its purpose with the standard drinking opening. What is undeniable is the quality of the spirit itself. At sixty years old and after sampling numerous gins across the globe, I can confidently say Silent Pool is the finest I have ever encountered. It offers a truly special sensory experience, beginning with delicate lavender notes, moving into a smooth honeyed body, and finishing with a complex blend of botanicals and a subtle peppery kick.

The presentation is stunning, and the glass really elevates the whole experience. I actually keep the empty bottles on my table for water because they look so good, though my friends and family usually prefer to keep the actual gin! It’s incredibly popular right here in Albury.
