Shore lodge

We always love staying at the Shore Lodge. It has been a staple in our travel since my husband and I started dating. The view is one of a kind. The pool and hot tub are an absolute must after a long day of skiing. We also love grabbing a craft cocktail or unique glass of wine The Bar with the best view in all of McCall. The Narrows Steakhouse is our favorite steakhouse in all of Idaho. The service, the food, the wine list are exceptional. And what's not to love about picking your own steak knife! The Shore Lodge will continue to be one of our favorite places to visit!

The spa is wonderful. Had a fantastic facial. The amenities are clean and well taken care of. The immersion pools are warm and relaxing. Great experience

Absolutely stunning hotel right on the lake in the tranquil mountain town of McCall, ID. It is very centrally located, they have a shuttle service, and there are endless outdoor activities at your door in all season in McCall!

Whether staying at The Lodge or just enjoying the beautiful views from the expansive outdoor patios or beach lined shore, you're bound to fall in LOVE with it all. The Lodge has year round heated swimming pools (two of varying temperatures) and a hot tub. Great for the kids or relaxing in after a day on the lake or ski hill.

The room smelled like dog urine. We were told it was a dog friendly room, which was fine, but the smell was very uncomfortable. We told the front desk about it and they said there was only one room available and it would be a $400 upgrade. For reference, it s room 205. I don t recommend staying here because of their lack of accommodation for the guests.

Excellent stay. Honestly, one of the most well-run hotels I've experienced. The facilities are great, but I was even more impressed with the people. Heck, I screwed up and arrived a day late and they were able to accommodate. Can't wait to go back!

Best food and bar in McCall.

Drinks were fabulous and flavorful. Almond cake with huckleberry ice cream was fabulous. Ice cream was fruity enough to almost be a sorbet, but richer. Excellent. (I just had drinks and dessert.) Pricey, bit worth the extra few bucks compared to other shore-adjacent places.

Stunning lake views. Except for a handful of lake facing rooms the remaining rooms are small. The non-lake facing rooms are tiny and overpriced. Water in the showers takes 10 minutes to reach "warm." The staff are killer, except for this one mid 50's gray/brown haired man at the desk-very unfriendly. The younger staff, outstanding. You will pay California prices for an Idaho lodge. I would rate it somewhat negative. It's also rather claustrophobic.

Everything was great, except the room situation. DO NOT get a room by the pool. It's open until 11pm at night. The noise never ends until then. If you think you want to take a mid-day nap, forget it. Its way to loud. They have a heavy iron gate that gets you in the pool area, it bangs and bangs all day and until 11 pm at night. We couldn't move rooms because they were fully booked. That being said, the lodge is beautiful and the foods is great. Location in spectacular, but not being able to sleep or relax in any any way in our room was a total disappointment.
