This Union is a joke they don't come to the job site . They don't help you in any way. I had a trial for a discharge I wasn't notified and to top it off this union dropped me the day before the hearing . How amazing . I had this union for 19yrs 5mos they are done with my case. So ask yourself who do they really work for ? Cause its not for it's members.

This is the union for LA County workers. They are supportive to all their members. They provide "Great customer service". They're very compassionate and understanding. They reach out to all members. They know of the hardship and unfairness that the employees endure while employed with the county. It's a never-ending cycle. It's ridiculous of how much an employee has to go through, on-going harassment, hostile work environment, discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. Although, it gets reported, nothing gets done. It's not by choice that one puts up with the hardship, it's because we need our jobs and this is what sustains our families and daily living. It's sad, depressing and overwhelming that we constantly have to be in a battle to fight for what is right. We have to speak up and stand up, no matter of the adversity we have to face. Bravo to our Union SEIU 721! Who fights and stands up for the employees rights. Thank you! God bless you all!

I filed two grievance and two of the worst advocate representing me. One name Craig and second Sergio. Craig was saying stuff to me over phone very unprofessional and Sergio was barely returning any my calls back. The union said give Sergio 48 hrs to call back. Still know word from Sergio. Call to Speak to Supervisor of the advocate. Same situation. I was told to give her 48 hrs that was last week and we at the end of the week still know word from her. What a joke.

they don't give me an opportunity to cancel the membership for another year and a half, we were apparently supposed to have gotten raises a year and a half ago, i still haven't seen a penny from those raises, we don't get a cost of living raise, the union doesn't protect me at all, and just to speak with them on the phone, i was on hold for 20 minutes.
