Second City Greens is a container hydroponic farm located in Lockport, Illinois. We specialize in growing lettuce, leafy greens, and herbs using the latest technology and sustainable farming practices. Our mission is to provide fresh, healthy produce year-round while minimizing our environmental impact.

At Second City Greens, we believe that hydroponic farming is the future of agriculture. By growing plants in a controlled environment without soil, we can eliminate the need for harmful pesticides and herbicides. Our plants are also free from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), ensuring that our customers receive only the healthiest and most natural produce.

Our state-of-the-art facility allows us to grow crops 24x7x365 regardless of weather conditions or seasonality. We use LED lighting systems that mimic natural sunlight to ensure optimal growth and yield. Our hydroponic system uses up to 90% less water than traditional farming methods while producing up to 10 times more crops per square foot.

We take pride in our commitment to sustainability at Second City Greens. Our farm operates on renewable energy sources such as solar panels and wind turbines, reducing our carbon footprint significantly. We also use recycled materials for packaging and shipping whenever possible.

Our products are available at local farmers' markets as well as through online ordering for home delivery or pickup at our farm location. We offer a variety of lettuce blends including romaine, butterhead, arugula, kale mixes along with herbs like basil cilantro parsley etc., all grown with care by our team of experienced farmers.
