What are you looking for as a beginner in the mid 30s? You want someone who takes away from you the fear that shows you skiing and explains it to the individual. All this was more than fulfilled by our ski instructor, Roos. If you are looking for a small, fine, very great ski school - that's right! The entire team of the ski school Gerlos total just does a great job, thank you also to Ingo, who always has a watchful eye on his teachers and students! Keep it up I'll be back next year! Had two hours of snowboard lessons from Jorick. After 10 years of experience I still learned a lot. Good technique and a few tricky tricks. 10/10 would recommend.
I have been coming to Gerlos for years with a group of friends and colleagues. Simply cozy. We have not given special attention for years to improve our skiing technique. That's why we thought to book a wonderful day in private with Gerlos Total with our group. We chose Gerlos Total because of the personal attention and ability to respond to our wishes. My brother and I had 7 lessons of an hour on a brush job before the holidays. Now we have learned so much from Maarten here. Good explanation and a lot of patience. Our experience at this ski school was really great !! Especially our teacher Emilie has really helped us to get to grips with the basic technique :) so highly recommended to learn how to ski quickly!
What an amazing experience. From the office to the slopes, everything was perfect. I had Tessa and Hans as ski instructors and both were exceptional, warm, friendly and very experienced. Hans is the perfect instructor for a nervous and anxious pupil!

Everything fits you, as you wish. Maria in the ski school office (centrally located in Gerlos) is always absolutely helpful and made all appointments possible for us at short notice. Our ski instructor ILSE was first class. Always in a good mood, very natural and friendly to our children and to us adults. She has brought our children on the skiing a lot and your calm and patience has inspired everyone. Conclusion for us: best service, best ski instructor, best learning success with 200% ski pass. Feel in good hands right from the start. As an almost bloody beginner, June trained me on two days in two hours each with a lot of patience and high professionalism and gave valuable tips. I would like to thank the whole team very much. Without you, my ski week would not have been so relaxed. Gladly again anytime.
We have been driving for 10 years to Gerlos in the Zillertal Arena. A varied and quite large ski area, in which really something for every skier is. For several years we are also guests of the ski school "Gerlos Total" and regularly every season. Our children have also enjoyed several awards for their excellent lessons. "Gerlos Total" is the small ski school and that makes all the difference: nice reception, very individual support and always approachable. The ski instructors are really great, see immediately what is wrong with one (including me). The exercises are tailored to the performance level of the student, so that it is not overwhelmed and loses the desire. I can anyone who comes to Gerlos and wants to learn to ski or wants to significantly improve his skills on the slopes (and there is always room for improvement), this fine ski school just to heart. Every year I have private lessons through Gerlos Total. Super well arranged, always good lessons (eg from Pius and Jorick) and very friendly people in the office, who recognize you every time. My snowboard technique has been improved a lot by these lessons. Very satisfied!
I booked two hours of private snowboarding lessons with Lars. Super nice guy who helped me a lot to improve my technique and gave me some tips about my equipment. The staff in the ski school is also very friendly and helpful. All in all, I can warmly recommend the ski and snowboard school.
This years mission was again to overcome my fear on the slopes. Where to start, how to find a real good teacher that understands my issues and get me to enjoy skiing again? Based on reviews on Facebook I chose for Gerlos Total, and that turned out to be a very good decision! Hilda kindly answered all my questions upfront patiently and quickly, and booked me with Pius. Hilda s choice appeared to be the perfect solution for me. From the start Pius has been a very skillful and patient teacher, recognizing my struggles and offering the right approach to tackle these. Thanks to that I regained my fun and confidence in skiing. His lessons gave me great time on the slopes and improved my technique tremendously. A big thank you to Pius and Hilda for that! Our two-day snowboard lesson was great. We had a private snowboard instructor who taught us the most important snowboard lessons competently, with a lot of patience and fun.
