These people do not care. Its nothing but a job to them. I do not recommend this place. Some adults were actually caring but most were not. They choose favorites. Also I have had over 430$ worth of items stolen and they did nothing about it.

I have not been to this Academy, but just finished watching a TV show called "Turning Point" on BYU TV featuring your school. I was in the foster care system for 4.5 years in IL, and have always felt like our foster care system was broken. However, after learning about this amazing, progressive school, I have hope! I'm now 60 years old, but the experiences of my childhood both before and during my foster care have shaped me in ways both positive and negative. I aged out of the system with no idea what to do or what my options in life were. I heard from my case worker a grand total of 2 times in those 4+ years. I floundered a bit, but pulled together a good life with my own amazing family, through hard work, lots of therapy and a good husband. Im encouraged and in awe of the support and stability these kids are receiving. This is an inspired program and I commend all who work so hard to make it work! Thank you for caring about the kids who often fall through the cracks.
