Very nice environment, nice rooms, been here 3 times.
Super cozy to swim in the hot tub, swim in the pool, have a glass of wine. There is also a pool table and the possibility to light a fire in the fireplace.
Wonderfully beautiful place to have dinner and breakfast in.
Good food and nice breakfast.
There is a walking path around the property.

Very nice .. But a little expensive .. Lovely castle's environment .. The food was of the finer kind o hence not so good .. You do not eat clean FETT .. Wonderful breakfast .. Poland was of the smallest variety o there was no whirlpool .. The hot tub was not running ..

Incredibly nice place! But minus the point that we were promised a two-course lunch (booked table in advance) but only got one right when we got there without getting to know the reason. Got to hear from the neighboring table that they didn't make the other dish because of the wedding the same day. We had appreciated if we found out before driving all the way there. Also got paid a lot for a right compared to the price for 2 dishes

Very good brunch, recommended. The spa area is quite small without a shared sauna for men and women but with cozy living areas.

Nice environment but no food sensation, small portions and just a choice of menu. If you arrive a little later in the afternoon coffee and breakfast, it is rather picked up unfortunately. Good bathing area and nice staff.

My initial impression was that the "castle" was smaller than I expected, it's more of a mansion but it is really nice mansion. The bedroom was pleasant and the surroundings are just great for a weekend out of the city.
The nearby lake is a wonderful distraction where canoes can be hired free of charge from the hotel.
Afternoon tea was nice but not exceptional - but I do have high standards!
The evening meal was of a high standard with a equally good service.

According to my wife, the spa facilities were not so impressive.

It's about an hours drive from Stockholm so it is ideal for a weekend getaway.

A good place to getaway from the city, personal visits or holding company's conferences. A swimming pool is available, jacuzzi and a hot water tub. They offer fun activities to do especially for groups.

A Christmas dinner, lots and lots! Well-ordered and nice! Also suitable for children!

Great food and great locale, pool/relax locales are a little lackluster since there s only one non-heated pool and a small hot tub outdoors. Well worth a visit but I ve been to better for the price.

Very nice hotel, great food. What I might want to see more is a little more modern rooms (especially the bathroom) in style with their inn in Mariefred. Staff very nice, highly recommended if you like an older style.
