I've gotten acquainted with Rosenblum Cellars as the spot in which I bide my time waiting for the the San Francisco Ferry to dock.
The staff is both friendly, helpful and especially amenable to the often abbreviated visits of ferry-bound clientele.
My usual wait for the ferry affords me time for one glass, and for that one glass I had one go-to selection from the list.
By the fourth of fifth visit, this habitual choice seemed rote-- I wanted to try something new but couldn't choose.
The solution: I tried a flight of four white wines (see photo) and now have at least three new go-to's the next time I visit.

Like so many others, this was our first stop after departing the ferry. Great atmosphere, large indoor space with limited outdoor seating (some of it with umbrellas) with views of the bay. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wines. The two flights offered were both reds, but with this being an exceptionally warm day, we choose whites by the glass. The sauv blanc and pinot grigio were both great choices. Bonus Tip: this is true picnic style, so when you order the "crisps," they are a box of crackers. No plate. No jam. Just an unopened, rather pricey box of water crackers.

Rosenblum hosted our holiday party yesterday for our office and i received compliments on the staff, venue, and warm hospitality all night long...could not be happier with how they handled everything! True professionals-Teri, Becky, and the rest of the staff were fantastic in assisting up to the night of the event and the evening itself... i am so thankful they are here and i could not be happier with last nights festivites... thank you!

I stopped by to wait here while my ferry was arriving. I'm not from the area, and I wanted to try some local wine. instead of overhearing wine fueled genuine conversation, it was sales pitches for the membership. instead of education about the flavors, it was about their membership plans. perhaps I shouldn't have sat at the bar. beautiful sunlit environment, full of sales people.

good selection of petit syrahs

We were on our way to catch the ferry and we decided to stop for a glass of wine before boarding. Walking into Rosenblum, we were delightfully greeted by Sharon. OMGosh, her disposition radiates!! We decided on a Duet Flight, and I found my new wine :) After Sharon's interaction with us, her making our visit feel so welcoming, we then decided to catch the next ferry. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, cheese and chocolate dipped pretzels. Sharon continued to check in on us, chat and make us laugh. You can see that Sharon puts love into this and it shows. We will be returning to Rosenblum Cellars!! I will also be bringing a group of friends to share my experience with them.

Went out on a wonderful Saturday and to have a wine tasting there. They are part of a larger company with some great names to the brand. The choices of wine are almost endless. Their zinfandel's were pretty good. I would probably go back just for the venue and how interesting and beautiful of an environment it is. But overall on the wine, some were hit a miss.

I found a bottle of 1988 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Holbrook Mitchell Ranch table wine in the back of my cellar this week. It was mixed in with my Rosenblum Zins (Ihave over three cases from various vintages). Wow it was wonderful, still dark garnet and smooth as silk. Wish I had more.

Great location for decent wine and easily accessible. I came here with 3 of my friends and did the tasting. The primary thing I didn't like was that it's very impersonal, when you get your tasting it is pre-poured into small bottles that you have to share and pour yourself into your glass. Not only does this prevent any friendly extra pours as is usual at wineries, but it also removes the need to have someone pouring (or talking) for you. The worker said we would get a special extra pour taste at the end but then ignored us for so long after that we ended up just asking for the check when he finally came around. Usually tasting rooms also make buying 1 bottle waive the tasting fee - which they did but only for 50$ and up bottles. All in all not that great and poor service but great location.

Though being a beautiful venue and a well known name, we found some of the interactions with the staff strange.

Of the tasting rooms I've visited, I'd rank the venue in a very high tier. I could imagine this being an amazing location for an office party or wedding. The low lighting, furniture, and surrounding barrels makes for a warm and chill environment. Check out their Google Maps listing, it contains an internal 360 view that gives you a good feel for everything.

The tasting counter was busy when we arrived. Hard to get attention and when we finally got our first taste, the staff member spent 20mins at the register with another group. Luckily we found someone else to help us. Though actively interacting with us during the remainder of the tasting, she seemed to desperately want to sell us a membership. It's evident they are comp'd by some sort of quota. If you express a hint of interest, they'll pounce. Better to express blunt unwillingness as soon as they pull out the pamphlet.

Not much else in the area and wines were ok (wish there was a bigger white selection!). Though I wouldn't actively visit, if I was nearby I likely would return.

Enjoyed the tasting. I walk by almost every day with my dog and finally got to drop in the for a taste of their wines. What a lovely place with great views of the water.
If your on your way to or from SF on the Ferry it is a great place to stop and enjoy some really nice wines. On a sunny day the comfortable outside patio is great for people watching.
