Variety of architectural quality and styles, ranging from fantastic to OK. Awsome views to the river, Roosevelt Island and Queensboro Bridge from the roof garden at the center of campus. Green and lush surroundings. A gem and a quiet, quiet and green island in a busy city.

I was a partner of a student there when it was the Rockefeller Institute in the late 1980s early 1990s. I have not visited on recent trips to the US mainly probably because I was scared to cross the road although holidayng is also tiring. However, I did enjoy my time there, and remember the very good film club. I did visit once to try to find people to explain my belief that diseases are fake and that the microscope cannot achieve high magnification, as I have done in the nearby Silver Star. I was not a scientist (I'm a former A level politics teacher) but am now starting to enjoy the subject more and something I read yesterday seemed to be hinting that physics, the principles of which are the basis of explanations of microscopy, was unfalisifiable in a way that biology was not.

The absolute best research institution in the world bar none. World class cutting edge science in a hidden oasis in Manhattan.

Don't see them on SportsCenter too often, but a world class research institution.

Interesting complex exclusively for postgraduate scientific students doing all kind of research. 50% of scholars are foreign students. House of laureate and Nobel prizes.

I have been on campus for over 30 years. It is a fabulous place to work. It is graduate students only, they pick a dozen of the best from around the world each year. RU has generated over a dozen Nobel prize winners in their history. And the campus environment is beautiful. And they have a great community culture for working.
