Rizo´s

This place has been a favorite of ours for a few years because of how great and fresh the food taste. Veggie Fajitas were unexpectedly delicious our first time here. The street tacos and horchata are amazing too .

Completely unexpected but they have the best Grilled Cheese Sandwich my daughter has EVER tasted by using Texas toast ,and toasting it perfectly .

They are now open again for inside dining BUT limited capacity. I highly recommend coming to Rizo's for their amazing food

This is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant to go to when I'm in town! It's so authentic! The atmosphere is very family oriented!

5 out of 5 recommend! It's not your "tradition tex-mex", but still has all of the favorites that my 4 year old likes. Portions are generous, so watch out on the chips and queso dip. If we're ever back in Alamogordo, we'll be back.

If I could give it 0 stars , I would. Probably the worse place I ve been to in a really long time. Reason being? They told us it was going to be a wait because we were a party of 8. I asked If we could eat outside as there was chairs and tables. They said yes but we needed to get the food to go as none of the servers were going to go outside to serve us. Why put the chairs and tables in the first place? Food had no flavor and ketchup was missing on my order. Luckily we had Clorox wipes to clean the table as it was dirty with dust and I don t know what other stuff. As we were placing the order there were tables available but they didn t offer for us to eat inside instead. Also for the bad food and bad service it s not worth it.

Really nice server and great food! They even specially made something not on the menu for one of us upon request. Very accommodating!

We order/stop in to eat here at least once a week. We love Rizo's! I've had the entire menu by this point and have never, ever been disappointed. Tina is the best server, always smiling! We just love her!

Waited for a minute for the table, but they were busy which is always a good sign! We got the 5 taco platter and barbacoa platter. THE BEST Mexican food I've had in a long time. All for the meat was tender and well flavored. Getting a bite of the fatty part of the barbacoa made my day. Complimentary chips and salsas were fresh and delicious also. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

This is a nice place to try for some Mexican cuisine. The portions were not as good in quantity as others that I have seen in some Mexican restaurants. But the dishes tasted good. We had the Sizzling Veggie Fajitas and the 5 Taco combo which were nice.
