River Deck Cafe

Went for a morning walk whilst on a road trip. This place had been recommended to me. Let me tell you SHHHHHH, it's truly a little slice of heaven. Go visit enjoy the great coffee and peaceful surroundings.

Got takeaway beef burger. Was pretty impressed with the food that I received, person who took my order and the view while eating by the river.. however while standing by the window waiting for my food I was exposed to what I assume was a manager (only person wearing a printed shirt while everyone else was wearing black, white or in an apron) talking down to not only the person who took my order but, another customer who had unwittingly sat on a table that made him speak over the waiter about variable pricing? I completely lack an understanding of the way he held himself in front of customers and feel for the waiters if this is his general demeanor. Won't be back

I visited this park many years ago, it has only improved. The River deck cafe opens for breakfast and lunch, prices vary low to medium high, though the food is high quality. There is a large grassed area here beside the Murray River. Plenty of fixed picnic tables, two very modern electric barbeques lots of shade under large trees. Children can swim in the river here safely as the current is not strong. All in all a great place to relax.

It s a lovely venue, probably the most idyllic location for a restaurant in Albury, by the river and surrounded by trees and parkland.
The Cafe itself is a nice building, getting a seat outside is particularly pleasant.
I thoroughly enjoyed my eye fillet steak, the herbed butter was delicious. The chips were perfect as well. No complaints !

Up from Newcastle for the weekend, went here for breakfast.
Never have I had such perfectly cooked poached eggs, with a great mix of herbs, spices and sauce. Coffee was great as well.
Lovely service with a unique atmosphere, highly recommend a visit for breakfast.

We love coming to this cafe/restaurant! You will not find a better location with a gorgeous view. Great tasting coffee. Delicious, large servings of quality food. Friendly, professional management & staff with top customer service & a smile. Playground outside & great for functions. I'd recommend booking ahead for a table as they fill up very quickly!

Beautiful location, with amazing food to complement the atmosphere. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating - service was 10/10.

Thank you James & staff for making Mum's Mother's Day so special. She had a delicious lunch & great service. Definitely the best place to go in Albury if you want to a have wonderful meal. A well deserved 5 stars.

Wonderful breakfasts, the best coffee and partner's hot chocolate got the thumbs up too! All provided with friendly, efficient smiling service. Advise booking ahead especially for weekend breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I wish I lived in Albury!

Really enjoy lunch here, both the food and service was great.
I enjoy a cafe that doesn t try and do it all.
River Deck has a good variety and does them well.
The lunch menu prices are certainly up there and may put a few off but I found it value for money.
