Great buffet at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong there. I love the ambiance...

Out dated a bit (on the casino side, didn't go elsewhere on the site...)

For myself I go in spurts. I won't go for 6 months but then go 2 nights in a row. It is a casino and they are a business. I enjoy the buffet and the atmosphere of the place. As a general rule I don't find people rude or pushy. I feel sorry for the horses so I don't bet on the races.

If you wonna go to the buffet the food is great but make sure to have a reservation otherwise up to 2 hours of wait

I took a bus tour from Montreal to this casino and I had a great time! It was a day outing early in the morning until after dinner. It cost me $45 for the bus and upon arrival we all received $60 to play. I didn't win anything but I did see some people win. It's a cozy place, the casino itself is very welcoming however they should make drinks more accessible to players. There is a girl walking around serving soft drinks and coffee but it was hard to find her. You can buy soft drinks at the restaurant for $2.85 if you really dont want to wait.
At one point I needed to get a glass of water for my mom and I literally waited 10 mins for it at the bar. The waitress was super slow, taking her time making the drink for the guy before me and her main focus was calculating her tip instead of serving the 8 people waiting for a drink. Some people were appalled and couldn't believe the service, one guy said 'you could die of thirst around this place, she is soooo slow'
Expensive also, I saw a guy buy 2 jack Daniel's with coke and it cost $39 very pricey in my opinion.
They could have a self serve station for players that has a soft drink fountain, tea and coffee.
I went to the evening buffet and found it quite pricey also, $25 per person (on a Monday) and there isn't a whole lot of choice. Only plus was you were offered a glass of wine or beer with the buffet however I think that was just the special of the day.
Next time I think I will go for the lunch instead, it's only $15.
All in all I had a good time and will return. It would be great if they just upgraded their services a little bit.

Full entertainment and they one of the best restaurants in town, however gambl very responsibly please people.

Seafood buffet, not a great selection. Too much wait time for cooked shrimp, so long that I never got any.

GREAT BAND! Security guard was really rude when he demanded my ID (I'm 27) despite the fact that I was being polite. Food was decent. I would only go back for the band, though. Needs more draw for younger crowds.

Loads of fun and payouts were not bad at all or we had good luck that day/night.

Very good but a lot of renovations are taking place. It will be much better in a couple of months.

My partner and I went to the Rideau Carleton Raceway to see the carriage races and check out the casino. Upon entering the premise, a security guard yelled at us and told us to go towards him. First off - there is no way of knowing where or what to do when you enter, other than you see two guys standing at a booth - which to some might seem like an info booth.

The guard was rude and made my partner and I feel very uncomfortable. He treated us like WE had done something wrong. He questioned me in a demeaning tone, while not treating my wife the same.

I am a female, who has short hair and to some might be mistaken as a male; however, it was very apparent that night I was a woman. Maybe it was the fact I was with my partner - who happens to be my wife that the guard at the door and then again later on chose to treat us horrible.

I will not come to the Rideau Carleton Raceway again, as they have made it clear, they are no an LGBTQ friendly place, nor do they have guards, employees who know how to treat those within the community with respect or dignity. For shame to the guard who felt the need to mock me and treat me like I didn't belong.

Food is mediocre, no real cssino games, just slots. Im really excited to see what happens here once tge hard rock takes over in a few years

Tried the buffet for brunch. Great variety of breakfast/lunch items. Fresh and consistent with refilling empty trays. Also the staff were friendly.

Lighting around the bar/band dancing area is very bright.

Alter Ego band members are so talented. Looks like they really like their job, having fun w/the audience. Thx to Rideau Carlton Casino for booking this show.

Lunch for circle members was overpriced for what I ate. Ordered philly steak sandwich, but received a roast beef and cheese sandwich instead. Lineups for bedding gift promotion voucher was very long, with only two staff helping at the time. Three of the kiosk's were out of order as well. Machines were tight, tight, tight. Not much fun. Hopefully, my next visit will be better. On a more positive note, lots of new slot machines and nicely laid out (too bad they rarely paid out). Hadn't been in quite awhile.

lots of variety, fresh food, well layed out, lots of baked good (no muffins...) nice waffles you made yourself, fresh fruit, ham, bacon sausages. waitress was busy so getting coffee refills was when you flag them down

Good family night out. Small snack bar on ground floor, restaurant on upper level.

If you like the casino scene this is the place for you.

Can't beat a breakfast buffet $11.99 per couple. Coffee included.

Adequate casino but nothing more. You have to pay for drinks, nothing is offered to players. The table game croupiers are quite nice but the place lacks a bit of atmosphere. Blackjack tables are $ 15 and pay 3: 2 for a BJ.

The whole facility feels budgeted, the food is absolutely dreadful and you could get better food at a high school cafeteria. Basically what this review is saying is: Terrible food, Feels Cheap, ambiance of the place is SAD and dated in a sense.

I love baccarat game but this place it not good to risk your money.all the cards are selected when you bet larger then one hundred they beat you every hand.they take bigger bet and pay for smaller bet . what a scam

Lost alot of money and no wins at all at least 7 other people had the same experience . The Casino at hull I had a better experience

Primarily enjoy going for dinner. They have a great buffet. If you like playing slots, they lots of bandits. When the horses are running it's fun to bet on your lucky steed.

Nobody wins anymore this is not right used to enjoy coming now only stress and frustration from everyone please be fair
