Revolutionary Spaces is a non-profit organization that aims to connect people with the history and personal practice of democracy through an encounter with two of the nation's most important Revolutionary sites, the Old State House and the Old South Meeting House. The Old State House is one of Boston's oldest public buildings, built in 1713 as a seat for colonial government. It was here that some of America's most significant events took place, including James Otis' famous speech against British writs of assistance in 1761, which helped spark the American Revolution.
