Okay....

So you pay $250 for the State Troopers Coalition ( one of many Fundraisers I am quite sure these people operate with daily), and No less than 10% of your donation goes to help fund the State Troopers Coalition, Blah Blah Blah .

Do the math folks!!!
You pay a phone room $250, and they give the Troopers ( or whatever the pitch is that day) $25???

Tell you what....

Just take $250 down to your local Trooper station, and I am quite sure that your donation will do 900% better than what this phone room is donating.

This is a scam!!!!!!

"Steve Savage" has called twice recently to try to raise money for police nonprofits. I asked him and his supervisor what percentage they remit to the nonprofit of each donation. They responded with a wordy statement without a percentage. The latest nonprofit has admitted, in a later phone call, that they will receive a minimum of 15 per cent of the money raised. I wonder if at any point Residential Programs will remit more than 15 per cent. It seems as if a call from Residential Programs mostly pays Residential Programs. Why pay a telemarketer to call you?

If it was possible to give less than one star, I would. I get calls from these people several times a week, asking for donations for a multitude of organizations including state troopers, veterans and firefighters. When I ask the name of the company they work for, they have to put a supervisor on the phone to answer the question! I have requested multiple times to be removed from their list. They won't give a straight answer when pressed on how much of the donation actually goes to the organization they are purported to represent. If you like the organization on whose behalf they claim to be calling, contact that organization and give to them directly!
