The attendant was fabulously nice! Which is refreshing after driving all night from Massachusetts on the last weekend of vacation before school starts. The property looks well maintained, the pool is clean, the rooms are acceptable, tv, fridge, microwave. Parking spaces are open and available. All in all I would definitely come back.

Hard mattresses, no linens for full out sofa bed, hair on bathroom floor from previous occupants. Room is large and spacious though with mini fridge and microwave.

I would suggest to sleep in your car and not stay here. The rooms are not clean my husband complained about the first room because of the black stuff on the walls and food wrappers behind the stand where I went to plug my phone in hairs on the towels, microwave was unsanitary and other stuff. So they did move us to another room and it was the exact same but to add to the stress of it all there was black stuff on the sheets and I found a crack pipe on the floor by the bed. I'm so glad I found it and disposed of it before my dog got a hold of it. Just dont stay here if you dont have to. Not worth the stress or money. I have to give one star to post my review which is total b.s.

Stayed twice, and the second time I had problems with Bed Bugs!!

HEALTH HAZARD. FILTHY rooms, the maids were the only reasonbly decent employees there. The front desk employees were RUDE, and never greet a new face. Found a tick!!!! No laundry options. The TV was so outdated, pretty much useless. I travel a lot, and this was the worst place I've ever been to.

This motel has junkies and bed bugs. Thats Why its so cheap

If you're looking for a place to hang your hat for a night through town, decent place. Could be a little cleaner, but hotel staff was friendly enough and I didn't need to be there long. Would probably use again if needed.

Checked in room 29 me my girl and 2 daughters immediatly had to ask for a different room cause one they gave us was never cleaned so he traded us with room 26 only did a quick walk through and headed to the beach came back to the room got a shower went to lay on the bed and the visible bed bugs was off to the races found marijuana crumbs all over the floor by nite table and trash along with a lube bottle behind nite table floor wasnt vacuumed pubic hairs in the what they called clean washclothes went to the office ask for my money back he comes out ask for my key shut the door locked us out to stand in the cold with my family no refund steer clear of this dump should be condemed u been warned

HORRIBLE! I give this places -10. I only gave it one star because I couldn t move forward with this review. We stayed here because everything else was $400 and above or had no vacancy. The door to the room had a big foot print on it. The rug was filthy. The furniture was antiquated. The remote to the tv did not work the tv only the tiny Infinity box. The bed spread had a hole. The bathroom..... uhhhhgggg the bathroom. The bath tub had a ring around it. So I tell the gentleman in the office. He goes to the back and get a rag and cleanser and hands it to me. Unbelievable. And we paid $140 for this. Just imagine what I had to say to this man about that. So he goes int the room to clean the bathroom. The whole time mumbling nonsense under his breath. Smh
The bathroom sink had sand in it. Oh... how can I forget. They didn t even provide soap.
Find another place to stay. Next I go back to Lewes i will plan my stay and stay at a better property where I can rest. This was a day trip we just took on a whim. I ve learned my lesson. Also I took pictures of this atrocity. Wish I could post here to show you.

My husband and I plus 2 dogs were referred here by a friend. We arrived only to find the gmfront desk attendant laying on the floor behind the front desk with an article of clothing folded like a pillow and a cell phone nearby. We were checked into a room that was already occupied, then given another room that had a very strong odor of old cigarette smoke and mold. We were given a 3rd room that had an odor sl8ghtly less than the 2nd room. The decor is antiquated and the bedding is questionable regarding the possibility of bedbugs and/or cleanliness. One of our dogs was relentless on sniffing under the beds and the entire floor. Not happy!

We come here every year. We bring our dogs with us and they love bit too!

A cheap motel, things r broken n donot work, pool closed n arcade, due to covid19, will not stay agin

If you are looking for a beachfront resort and all of your whims catered to..THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU...but, if you are looking for a family and pet friendly place that is within driving distance to all that the area has to offer that is rate reasonable...it is worth considering. I have stayed here( with a pet ) and was satisfied with both the room and the price.

WAY overpriced. Outdated and grungy. The front desk didn't even tell us where the room was and had to wonder around around (he seemed to care more about the show he was watching then helping us) The blankets were full of pulls. The beds feel like they've been there since the turn of the century. The faucet for the shower had a bunch of mold growing around it. Parking lot was full of trash. Plus, the "sweet" that we got didn't even have a coffee maker, nor a place there to get coffee in the morning. Would never recommend.

The manager Rick is very rude! Don't waste your time!

The rooms were not clean they Smelled like Cigarettes and I had to get the Manager to come over to clean the Shower it was not clean STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
UNLESS it's the only Hotel on the Planet.

immediately upon our entrance into our room we noticed stained walls, dirty carpet, and stench of something i cannot describe. Upon further inspection of the bathroom, the shower was filthy and covered in pubic hairs. and the floors and toilet soiled with dirt. The pool contained too much chorine giving our family a rash. when it was time for bed we pulled back the blankets to reveal what else but more hair! of the head and pubic variety. Though this motel was cheeper than other in the area, i would recommend spending a few extra dollars and staying in a more sanitary place.

I was greatly surprised by the room here. I used to work at a hotel so I guess I am a tough critic but I was quickly won over. We would usually steer people clear from here when I was a front desk employee but based on the room I saw, I would direct people to stay there. The carpet was nice and soft. Everything was very clean and furniture looked new. Only downfalls were the room smelt slightly like the AC when we walked in and the toilet paper dispenser was hard to reach from the toilet but, again, not that big of a deal.

The Red Mill Inn is a comfortable and affordable place to stay. It's not far from Milton and Lewes , two charming towns near the beach. They offer dog-friendly rooms, comfortable beds, and fresh coffee in the morning.

Cheap and convienent. Room smells like mildew.... son got sick because of the room. and my check in staff wasn't very friendly.

When my family first got here the room was disgusting. Smelled like someone died and was hidden in the walls. The room was not clean and had roaches. So we switched our room to find a bedbug infestation. Nasty! Also found leftover drugs and trash. Room also stink like mildew. Trying to find another room at 10:00 pm. Trust me save your skin and don't stay here.

Hotel in Delaware Red Mill Inn: poor & old furniture could not get wifi, weak signal + no cell reception in room (t-mobile). Had to go outside to use computer and cell phone. Room smelled bad. Not cheapest. No breakfast food at breakfast bar. Save your money and go further into town. Room was large and there was a pool.

The only reason we stayed here is because this is one of the only places to allow you to stay for one night only. I would recommend doing more research or spending the extra money on a different hotel/motel. It was obvious our room had not been cleaned since the last guests moved out. The carpets were filthy, there were smashed bugs all over the walls, there was blood under my friend's pillow, and grass and hair on my sheets. It was absolutely disgusting. When we told the "manager" he explained how a family had been living there for a month and just recently moved out. Why the maids didn't clean the room before we arrived, I don't know. Thankfully, we were put in another room, but we had to move all of our stuff up to the second floor at midnight with no help from him. It was such an inconvenience and we will not be returning.

Don't judge a motel or hotel by it's curb appeal! I'm one to make my own conclusions and not be swayed by too many negative reviews. However, in THIS case I should have read the reviews BEFORE checking in to this motel. Years of coming More

I stayed at the Red Mill Inn down at Delaware beaches and it was a good place with good service. My pillow case however had a must smell to it which did not make me comfortable to sleep upon it.

I booked a room there and I m kinda of scared to stay now I haven t been there yet but there is so many bad comments it s very affordable and the guy I spoke to seemed cool but I ll keep you guess updated on my review

This time disgusting the bedding was dirty, the carpet was filthy and the shower had not been cleaned. That's why any where I go I take lysol spray and my own sheets.

Can you say BED BUGS yes they ate me up will never come here again I will sleep in my SUV FIRST...

Great friendly and very clean In to stay at. Very professional. Grounds are very nice and clean. Very polite staff. Only is no coffee pot in rooms and televisions are old. Other than that a great place to stay. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Rates are excellent aswell.

Great hotel. Reasonable prices. Smoking rooms and pet friendly. Good wifi. Old televisions only real negative and no breakfast except coffee and cerial. I reccomend this place on a budget.

The health dept. should condemm this place. I have never seen anything like it. It was disgusting. The sheets had been on the beds so long it had the indentations of the mattress print on them. The walls were dirty, the room was so musty smelling, we couldn't believe what we were seeing, my husband and I justed looked at each other. The sheets had stains on them along with pubic hair. The bathroom was the same. This was the first time in 40 years of marriage we had to leave a hotel and find another place to stay. Trust me don't stay there.

Asked for A refund within 30 minutes of being in my room. Flies everywhere, wasn't thoroughly cleaned, completely unsanitary and don't know when the last time was they cleaned behind the nightstand. Pretty sure they were bed bugs just from the way the room presented itself... do yourself a favor spend the money on a decent hotel
