At Reach-Up, we understand that the first few years of a child's life are critical for their development and future success. That's why we offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of low-income families with young children.
Our Early Head Start program serves pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age three. We provide high-quality early learning experiences that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Our staff also works closely with parents to help them build strong relationships with their children and support their overall well-being.
For preschool-aged children (ages three to five), our Head Start program offers comprehensive early childhood education services that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. We use evidence-based curricula that align with state standards and focus on developing key skills such as language, literacy, math, science, social studies, creative arts, physical development, and social-emotional competence.
In addition to our educational programs for young children, Reach-Up also provides a range of family support services aimed at strengthening families' overall well-being. These include health screenings; nutrition education; mental health counseling; parenting classes; job training; financial literacy workshops; housing assistance; transportation services; referrals to community resources; advocacy on behalf of families' rights and needs; and more.
