Really shocked that a rather nice hotel restricted the maid service, had no food service, no coffee in lobby. Thank goodness the bar had just reopenes.

I really just needed a room for a day trip that ended up being overnight, but I can assure you I won't be back for a longer stay.

I booked this hotel through my cellphone carrier. When I arrived I was told that I would be checking into Queen bedroom, instead of the King I reserved, because bed sizes aren't guaranteed with 3rd party bookings. So I check online to see if there are any King bookings left, thinking maybe they're all full tonight...NOPE! Still up, still available to be booked, no "Only 1 room left" warning. My reservation was downgraded at a whim, and when I asked how I was being compensated, I was told I wouldn't be.

So I ask about breakfast, since I saw it listed as an amenity listed on their website for a small nominal fee, and was told the hotel is not offering breakfast, but I am welcome to the bar. I think when you close a restaurant at a location, that is something that should be removed/ hidden/ modified to indicate it's not available!

But, I was offered the option to reserve time at the pool. Which is nice since most indoor pools have been closed during the pandemic, so I do. Well.. I was not informed of the COVID protocols or precautions, so when I swung by the pool to investigate capacity enforcement and how ventilated the room was, I decided to opt out & went to my room to call the front desk to cancel... The phone didn't work. I went back to the front desk to report it & cancel my reservation.. No work order was placed, no acquiescences made as to how I could order room service, or contact them at all. Not even an offer to move to a room witha working phone!

Terrible service. If the room wasn't clean & the water pressure wasn't amazing they'd have gotten 1 star from me

Quiet location near Northbrook, Lobby looks great. I stayed at Non renovated room. It is not bad. Bedroom and bathroom are clean. Best part is Ruth steak house is in the building, they have happy hour 4pm to 6pm. Food are delicious.

Room decor is kind of quirky and funky. I kind of like it though.

Our visit was during the pandemic so many services and amenities were reduced or not available. Nice, clean room with very comfortable beds.

Room looks nice but. You can't go to pool whenever you want. We weren't told that when we booked our room. There was a little surprise from the previous stay... Was our room even clean by the staff ? Pool chairs are dirty, carpets in the hallway are dirty. Pool water is not heated!!! Its very cold. You only get 1.5h to swim when you make the reservation but you can only last 30 min max because of the water temperature.

Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. the only problem I had was that instead of a shampoo, conditioner and lotion, I ended up with one shampoo and two lotions. The water pressure was nice and it was a very comfortable room

Really nice. Super clean and interior design was pretty cool.

I stayed here while visiting Chicago a few years ago and really liked the hotel. Excellent blackout curtains and super comfortable mattresses! Just a short drive to the train station and close to the freeway.
