Nice cozy place to meet friends for an adult beverage

Don t go for food. Waited one hour for a sandwich and salad, and then the salad came without dressing. It was a Tuesday evening and not busy at all.

A bit of a walk on a December night, but there's a fire crackling and another drink to be had on the grand tour.

Awesome place, right on river. There is nice beach and park area next to McMenamins Ahles Point Cabin. They serve a limited menu but as usual good beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

Went in to meet up with some friends but the bartender was not very friendly towards us. Cute place but bartender needs to be more friendly.

A riverside cabin done in McMenamins style serving beer and wine only. Food is brought over from Kalama Lodge. Good sized outdoor patio.

I loved the outside sitting area and the bartender was great. It would have been perfect if the fireplace outside was lit on a day like today.

Cozy cabin right by the water with inside and outside fireplaces. Recommed getting a beer and settling in for a long winters chat.

Warm fire, great service, and Chris Stapleton on the record player. Played cribbage with my wife as we drank a Hammerhead and Cranberry cider.

I've stopped by this cabin a couple times and I love it. This is a small comfortable place that always has a fire going. This place is ideal on a nice day or evening because they have ample outdoor seating right on the Columbia River.
The only negitives I saw was they dont allow kids and the food menu is pizza only. I guess they are going for an adults only feel which is cool.
I recommend this place to everyone and say hi to Lorna. She is the best

Beautiful view, friendly staff. My wife was a little chilly, so the bartender started a fire and found her a blanket. Love the extra friendly steps to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and always with a smile.

One of the better McMenamins experiences that I have had. A cozy little stop with a very friendly bar tender and a few locals at the bar. I always go for the Monkey Puzzle and my drink of choice.

So cute. Great small atmosphere bar. Good selection from McMenamin's drinks and you can even order pizza to be brought over from the main Lodge. Nice and warm indoor / outdoor fireplace with real wood, not gas !!

Secluded from the rest of the Kalama location via a quick stroll, this tiny bar overlooking the river feels as wonderful as the Cloud Bar without the traffic of people; and no children. No food or liquor, but many non-alcoholic beverages to go along with beer, cider, and wine.

Worth the stop if only to meet Amanda and Matt. Food was good, but Amanda was and is a superstar. Kept everyone happy and safe. Such a great attitude. Enjoyed the fire.

Waited 1 hour for a caesar salad and one burger. Burger was cold and salad had very little dressing and cheese, not to mention the 8 brown pieces of lettuce I picked out. Our server disappeared after delivering our drinks and another gal delivered our food, but never returned with the extra plate and dressing as requested. i get servers have a very busy job but ours was just totally checked out. And it was not busy. If we ever go back i hope our experience is much better!

The place is really nice. Wait person was very pleasant. And other was a busy day for sure. I am not a person to complain at all. I'm an easy please! We waited a fair amount of time for our food. Unfortunately it wasn't hot. Delicious but not hot, fries were cold.

Cozy in there today. Had the fire going, SUNNY outside but very windy and cold. Bar keep very friendly to all. This place just has a great feel

I actually love this bar! It s small, but has a great feel to it! Kinda like the Red Shed at Edgefield, but bigger. The downside is it does take a while for the food to make its way across the parks from the kitchens at the lodge. If you want something a little calmer, to here for a drink, then take a stroll through the park or along the river.

This place is cool, cozy and right on the beach. Well worth the walk if you're staying at the main Lodge.

Best pizza and the bartender was amazing!! We had gone to the main restaurant and they told us it was an hour to be seated so we took a shot at the Ahles Cabin and it was so much better!!

Great. But would have been better if they had wood for their fire places. How does a place like that not have enough wood for the very ambiance that is indicative of mcmenamins. I'll go back for sure. Just disappointed this time.

My secret, or not so secret, Ale stop. The log cabin is perfect along with the friendly service. The pizza is fantastic, but we hope they can carry wings or other options sometime soon.

What a blast! Our server was a blast...a fun last from the emerald island. And the views of the water. Simply gorgeous. Great pizza too

Great little spot to play cribbage and sit by a fire. Decent menu available- golf-carted over from the main building.

Took a short ride on this gorgeous sunny afternoon. Stopped in for a couple of beers and headed home as sun went down before it dropped twenty degrees.

This Mcmenamins bar was a great but a bit frustrating. Firstly, the location, which was about 0.4 miles from the main hotel, provided a quieter, relaxed atmosphere. Further, the bar has great character. The view of the Columbia from the deck was also splendid.

The downside is that the bar is 0.4 miles away and is about a 10 minute walk, which would suck during poor weather. There is a small parking lot for those who choose to drive. Also, the only food offered was pizza, which has to be delivered and had a minimum wait of 30 minutes.

It was cozy...the beer tender made sure I was happy...a very pleasant night!

I had heard very good things about this restaurant and was very excited to try it. We had a plan to enjoy lunch in the restaurant and then walk to the cabin for drinks. After waiting over an hour for our sandwiches, we were served cold food on soggy bread. We are currently ravenous and we just ordered lunch at Hop -N- Grape.

Cold day, big fire in the fireplace, good beer, nice view. Cozy.
