Proyecto Burbuja is a participatory urban art initiative that prints speech-bubble-shaped stickers and places them over advertisements in public spaces around the city. Pedestrians are invited to fill the bubbles with phrases or any form of self-expression, and the resulting filled bubbles are then photographed. The project is inspired by The Bubble Project, originally created in New York by art director and designer Ji Lee. Proyecto Burbuja provides a downloadable manifesto, a gallery of results, and encourages participants to connect through a Facebook group to share their photos and experiences.
