Actually just wanted to invite them to our special love service but maybe they weren't interested.. didn't hear from them.. women's group,huh?? Didn't respond to our women's group at all.. where's the Love??
The devotion from Proverbs 31 Ministries pops up in my work email every morning. Some days it just gets passed over and then deleted. But the days that i take the time to slow down and read are amazing. God has used these emails to speak words to me that i needed to hear. My husband died this past summer. i've been packing up his closet and dresser to donate. It's so much harder than i anticipated. Today's devotion spoke exactly to that subject. i mean exactly! And there have been so many other times that God has just slapped me in the face with a devotional that was exactly what i needed to hear. i can't really express the joy and comfort i have received. God speaks to us in many ways. This ministry is definitely one of them.
I love knowing I am not alone in life's struggles. ... I do not wish bad luck on everyone or anyone , I just feel so many people feel the same as I. .... This too shall pass

The organization was founded in 1992 by Lysa TerKeurst, who had a vision of helping women grow in their faith and become closer to God. Since then, Proverbs 31 Ministries has grown into a global community of women who are passionate about living out their faith and making a positive impact on the world.
At Proverbs 31 Ministries, our mission is to provide resources and support for women as they navigate life's challenges and pursue their God-given purpose. We believe that every woman has unique gifts and talents that can be used to make a difference in the world, and we are committed to helping them discover those gifts and use them for good.
One of the ways we do this is through our online community, which includes daily devotions, Bible studies, podcasts, blogs, social media channels, and more. Our content is designed to be practical, relevant, and inspiring โ providing women with the tools they need to grow in their faith and live out their calling.
In addition to our online resources, Proverbs 31 Ministries also offers live events such as conferences and retreats. These events provide opportunities for women to come together in person for worship, teaching from experienced speakers like Lysa TerKeurst herself or other well-known Christian authors/speakers/teachers like Christine Caine or Priscilla Shirer), fellowship with other believers from around the world (including small group discussions), prayer time (both individual & corporate) ,and much more.
