Project transitions is dedicated to accommodating individuals with aids. They work for a good cause and their employees are brilliant and kind. Every month, Project transitions organizes community events to raise money. They are very fun to attend and I highly recommend it.

I have to disagree with everything in "Scary Terry's" post - it's a blatant lie. Anyone who knows or works with PT knows the good that they do. I volunteer 2-3 times a week at the organization, and there is no mismanagement or finance issues. PT provides vital services (housing and hospice) to HIV positive, low income individuals and families. Volunteering for the organization (I'm going on three years) has been an absolute joy, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Austin area.

Could be a good program. Unfortunately, funds are mismanaged. Staff creates a hostile and toxic environment at Doug s House. Permanent housing facilities operated by Project Transitions are overrun with crime and drugs. Long past due for change in management and change of directors. Money donated here goes to paying people to do next to nothing. This is not a charity organization that helps people with HIV/AIDS as much as it s a charity organization to pay staff to do nothing.

Amazing possibilities open up for people living with HIV/AIDS in Austin through the programs offered by Project Transitions! The staff at every level and access point are friendly, genuinely care for the people they work with, and go above and beyond to do everything they possibly can for those they serve! If you're looking for a REAL opportunity to make a difference in the world, Project Transitions is a GREAT place to start!
