Beautiful grounds to walk and "get away" from the city. But still with beautiful views of the city. Although the trails do cross roads at various points, you can get away from the noise and into the redwood and eucalyptus trees. Very relaxing for hiking without having to drive too far. Parking can be difficult. I believe they allow dogs on the beach. Bathroom facilities are disgusting -- only con.

Their Baker Beach apartment emailed me that I have one of their apartments and proceeded to not reply emails and never answer phone calls to the point where it was impossible to schedule any showings. I had six or seven people wanting to see the apartment and none of them was scheduled. I ended up not renting the apartment because it is impossible to work with them. When I drove all the way to the office so I can finally catch a real person they were all extremely rude, unapologetic, and unwilling to help at all cost. These people are not fit to work at any kind of a leasing office.

Beautiful place to walk/run, little chilly as the sun goes down with the breeze off the bay.

The Presidio Trust does an amazing job of restoring and keeping the presidio grounds amazingly beautiful. They also regenerate the natural vegetation and wildlife by removing the man made structures such as rail yards etc. They provide volunteering opportunities for cleaning and restoration. Anyone can join and become involved. The trust hosted a group of 35 Local Guides today for a Clean The World Meetup.

The Presidio is a stunning place with amazing views as well as various interesting things to see and do. Good for hiking too.

We're all glad that it went from being military land to being a public park!
