Planting Peace is a progressive nonprofit organization founded in 2004 with the mission of spreading peace and love in a hurting world. The organization has been working tirelessly to promote equality, human rights, environmental conservation, and social justice across the globe.
The founders of Planting Peace believe that every individual deserves to live a life free from discrimination, violence, and oppression. They are committed to creating a world where everyone can live with dignity and respect regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
Over the years, Planting Peace has launched several initiatives aimed at promoting peace and love across different communities. One of their most notable projects is the Equality House - an LGBTQ+ advocacy center located across from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka Kansas. The house was painted with rainbow colors as a symbol of support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Another initiative by Planting Peace is Deworm the World - an international program aimed at reducing intestinal worm infections among children living in poverty-stricken areas.
