Pilot Dogs, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been providing guide dogs to the visually impaired since 1950. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired by providing them with highly trained guide dogs that can help them navigate their surroundings safely and confidently.
The Pilot Dogs Guide Dog Program is designed to match each client with a dog that meets their specific needs and preferences. The program includes an intensive training process for both the dog and the client, which ensures that they are able to work together effectively as a team.
In addition to its Guide Dog Program, Pilot Dogs also offers an Orientation & Mobility Program for individuals who are blind or visually impaired but do not require a guide dog. This program provides training in various mobility techniques such as cane travel, public transportation navigation, and orientation skills.

The Puppy Raising Program allows volunteers to raise puppies from eight weeks old until they are ready for formal training at around 18 months old.
