I have been waiting for transport for my 12 year old son at Southwest General. Initially Physicians said they would transport him at 6:30 then 8 pm, then 11 pm and now supposedly, 1am. It is 12:49 and I don’t think they are coming. He is 12 years old and needs to be transported. I cannot believe they are so unprofessional!

Horrible company. Scheduled transport from one hospital to another at 2:00. It's 1:35AM. Still waiting. They want their payment up front also. Avoid!
I don't know this companys standard is on drivers using their cell phones but they're all over the road and texting!just a lawsuit waiting to happen if they're carrying a patient And get in a wreck!
A great place to work! They stand behind their mission and values. The job is challenging and rewarding. You really get the opportunity to work to your full potential.
Always late never on time or close to estimated arrival time. Have to wait well over 2 and half hours( and still not sure what time they will artive) for an Ambulette to pick up my elderly parent to bring back to the nursing home. I don't understand why they are always backed up on a huge delay. Always an annoyance to use this company for transport to and from doctor appointments.
Horrible. Patient waited over 4 hours to be picked up by this transport team. Called at 3 pm for transport was told 60 - 90 minutes. Called again at 4:10 pm and was told 60 - 90 mins. Called again 5 pm was told 60 - 90 minutes. Explained to dispatch that this was how long dispatch said before. Dispatch changed time to 30 minutes. Called back at 6 pm and was told 45- 60 mins.
Great place to work. The ability to advance is there and the education department and what we do is growing. Excited about the next chapter at Physicians...
The wait is usually never that long. The employees are very friendly.
I've worked here for roughly 2 years as an EMT-B and will be starting shortly as a paramedic. I have always been taken care of by management and have been given great opportunities to improve my knowledge and skill. Employees are intelligent healthcare providers and most are more than pleasant to work with. There are numerous Private Ambulance companies in the area and Physicians remains the best. Great experience.
Physicians had to transport my 3-year old daughter from one hospital over to Rainbow Babies and it was a great experience. (Well, as 'great' an experience like this could be!). Cory (the paramedic) immediately put me at ease with his knowledgeable nature and calm and pleasant disposition. He even had my daughter smiling and laughing! The driver was super friendly and kind as well. I appreciate the professionalism and solid medical care provided by these fine young men that evening. Strong work guys!
I called Physicians Medical Transport tonight for an urgent need. I spoke with Maggie and she was not only helpful, but went above and beyond to accommodate my need. She reached out to her management to help find a solution to our problem and was very nice and helpful. Thank you, Maggie and Physicians Medical Transport!
I am the Administrator at a Skilled Nursing Facility We were trying to arrange transportation for a patient to transfer to us from another facility in a different county. The trip had to be after 6pm, due to other appointments the patient had that day. I called 5 other transportation companies and was given every reason why the transport couldn t be done (no driver, can t transport that late, no wheelchair, can only accept cash, etc). I then called Physicians and there were no hesitations, it was quick, easy, they were flexible with the times and provided a wheelchair- no problem! I will definitely call Physicians first next time! Great job making this patients experience better :)
Physicians Ambulance never pick up our patients on time. Usually 1-2 hours late.
Called at 12:05 for pick up of a patient. Was told they would arrive within the hour. Currently 1:45 pm and they are still not here.
While they are friendly, they were always late picking up my father for dialysis (going to and from the facility). They also never notified anyone when they changed the scope of their practice.
I received a call today saying that my father was left at the dialysis center and that no one was going to be picking him up because they don't provide services to people in wheelchairs anymore. You can only imagine what that did to us.
My father is dealing with Alzheimer's with Dementia!!! This company is not one that you want to deal with if you actually care about yourself and your loved ones.
Terrible. Horrific. Completely unacceptable. This company just doesn't care! My daughter was supposed to be picked up at 5pm from University Hospital and brought home. They still haven't picked her up and its been over 7 hours so far! They keep saying 60 minutes more every time the hospital has called for an update... liars! I'm pretty sure they (transport staff) are sitting in a bar in downtown Cleveland watching the World Series instead of doing their job!!!! And here I am, up late, waiting... and I have to be at work early in the morning!
This is the best ambulance service around. The staff is educated, well trained, and extremely personable. The level of care provided by Physicians Ambulance is some of the best in the country.
Don t understand how they charge over $600 to transport a non emergency 2 blocks...then try to double charge after you have paid bill...than call u a liar when u report them to CFPB ...them when u call to inquire about bill they have a nasty attitude/(billing dept)...u should not be aggravated when u are getting paid over $600 a head..wow Amazing...
Worst. Ambulance. Service. Ever. They will tell you they will pick-up a patient at a certain time but are routinely late. My brother-in-law was to be picked up at 7:30p to be directly admitted to Metro. It's 10:30p and they have still not shown up. I called and spoke to "Maggie" whom stated "my units are transporting traumas". Your a private ambulance!! Lies, Lies, Lies
Very rude people on phone ,sent me bill and don't want to bill insurance, If I had a choice I would never use them !!!!???
