A wonderful school to learn in with a lot of facilities and best teachers. It even gives a higher probability to be accepted in IV league Colleges or other known colleges. I recommend this school to anyone who wants great future
It was very fun during the summer program and made a lot of new friends. I got to learn using the Harkness method.
I came back from a field trip there, the two people from each school who have the best essays on why they should go get a free summer tuition. I was picked as one of the 7th graders from my school to get a chance in. They have a large campus, as far as the eye can see, great food, and everyones very polite. I would really enjoy it as a school to regularly go to. Apparently every week, the scholars who get the free tuition will go on a field trip. 10/10. Would reccomend, even if the tuition is over 50 thousand dollars per student in high school.
i wasn t admitted but i still like it they have good chocolate milk
Andover is the only place I've been both accepted just as I am and inspired to do more and be a better version of me. Even today when I visit, I learn constantly and begin to dream bigger again. The people are earnest, kind and fair, the faculty and staff always working to find better ways to empower students and each other. They strive for balance and work hard. It isn't easy or perfect, but it's a safe place to explore ideas and I recommend it to anyone who wants to make the most of who they are.
My daughter went to Andover and loved it. I would recommend it for students who are highly independent and motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment with stimulating teachers and students from around the world. It enriched her life and now that she has her own kids (and writes and teaches), her education here is helping many others, too.
Teed off. They used to let people from outside into their beautiful and amazing library on campus. But as of 2016 they strangely started forbidding people to do so. No explanation of the unattractive changeover either.

Phillips Academy: Pursuing Academic Excellence in a Vibrant and Inclusive Community
Phillips Academy is a prestigious co-educational independent boarding school located in Andover, Massachusetts. Founded in 1778, the school has a rich history of academic excellence and innovation. With an enrollment of approximately 1,150 students from across the United States and around the world, Phillips Academy offers a rigorous academic program that prepares students for success in college and beyond.
At Phillips Academy, academic excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Our faculty members are experts in their fields who are passionate about teaching and mentoring young people. They challenge our students to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop their intellectual curiosity. Our curriculum is designed to be both challenging and flexible so that each student can pursue their own interests while also meeting high standards of academic achievement.
In addition to our strong academic program, Phillips Academy is also committed to creating a vibrant and inclusive community where all students feel valued and supported. We believe that diversity enriches our community by exposing us to different perspectives and experiences. That's why we actively recruit talented students from diverse backgrounds who will contribute to our community both academically and socially.
Our commitment to inclusivity extends beyond just admissions; it's woven into every aspect of life at Phillips Academy. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities that allow students to explore their interests outside the classroom while also building relationships with peers from different backgrounds. Our residential life program provides opportunities for students to live together in small groups called clusters where they can form close bonds with one another under the guidance of dedicated faculty advisors.
At Phillips Academy, we believe that education should be transformative – not just for individual students but for society as a whole. That's why we encourage our graduates to use their education as a tool for positive change in whatever field they choose – whether it's medicine or law or business or politics or something else entirely.
If you're looking for an exceptional educational experience that will prepare you for success both academically and personally, then look no further than Phillips Academy!
