Big problem with management ignoring multiple tenant complaints for years about people smoking inside the building. The website states the apartment building is SMOKE FREE meaning no one - tenants, visitors, repair people, office staff and outside contractors hired by management to do repairs and routine maintenance may smoke inside or outside the building or anywhere on the property. Smokers must smoke at the intersection where the driveway to the building meets the public street. Management's way of handling repeated complaints regarding the smoke issue is to send out notices "reminding" tenants that "...this is a smoke free building..." Contacting the corporate office via mailed correspondence produces no response. Peter Sanborn Reading requires tenants to sign a lease annually stating that all tenants will abide by the smoke free rule and both tenant and management sign the lease yet management repeatedly breaks their end of the bilateral contract.
