First visit tonight. Came for the desserts and they were so tasty! Tried the strawberry pie, chocolate covered donut, and chocolate pie. Took the cookie sandwich home for later. It was my father's first raw vegan experience and he was wowed! Highly recommend for people who are vegan and/or gluten free. Also, the service was friendly and very helpful.

Way too over priced for what you get. I've tried most of the raw food places in California as this is my passion. This store was expensive, flavorless, quite tiny, staff was a bit rude, and worst part is they don't put the ingredients on their food packages. Also they won't give you any recipes that aren't in their first cookbook so if you think your going to try to make their wraps at home for a more affordable price forget it. Remember Peace Pie staff....."copying is the highest form of flattery" especially if a loyal customer is sometimes unable to drive to your store or pay your shipping prices.

Moving to SD just to eat here everyday! If you re contemplating coming here, just do it already. I brought my meat-eating family who doesn t care about quality of food and they loved it! We had the seasonal spring rolls, mango coconut wrap, and street tacos. 10/10. Wish I would ve remembered to take a photo.

IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD VEGAN FOOD DONT LET THIS DETERMINE WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. I am not vegan but do enjoy vegan food. They where very nice but would not recommend. I got the mediterranean plate and the lasagna and they where both well I don't mean to be rude but it was gross. The mediterranean plate was not terrible but would not go back.

Amazing! If it's your first visit, I reccomend the quesadilla and apple pie. Even if you're raw vegan all the time, you will get enough food, which is a refreshing change. The "tortilla" tastes more like a crepe and is the most delectable addition to the other savory ingredients!

Definitely one of my TOP 5 spots in San Diego. I see why they've been thriving since 1984. The food, the culture, the atmosphere. I've never had anything bad or been dissatisfied with their food. I usually get the Wednesday special with battered tofu and it's always fresh, consistently flavored and filling. Gotta support black owned businesses who especially are operating in EXCELLENCE.

Just this funky little place with a great staff, a good vibe and amazing food that just happens to be raw and vegan. If you're not raw/vegan, don't hastily dismiss this place. The food is fantastic, flavorful, filing and healthy. Full menu with appetizers, salads, main dishes, drinks and desserts. For raw, from-scratch whole food dishes, the prices are very reasonable. If you've never prepared raw-food recipes, there's a lot more to it than you may realize. A must-try restaurant!

Delicious vegan sweets. Only tried the small chocolates to take home. I also saw that the carried cashew based vegan cheeses in the fridge which can be hard to find. It s a small place but worth the visit. The service was friendly and I would go back to try to the food if back in the area.

What a chill vibe, the service was kind and all questions answered. Plenty of delicious options to take away or eat there. Many sweet options, to include four different vegan cheesecakes. it takes a little bit to get the order but it's well worth the wait. Outdoor and indoor seating. It was a bit chilly inside would bring a light jacket. I had the quesadilla.

Beautiful place! Great people and supreme food! If you want to call these pure, raw vegan delicacies a cheat meal you'd be right and it they would still be healthier and tastier than traditional burgers, tacos and enchiladas! My number 1 go to in San diego! I'm currently in austin. Id personally run it if you guys opened one here! It would be a big success! Much love to peace pies!!

Such good food , the range of raw food deliciously served and a nice place to hang out too. If you are looking for vegan and raw food then this is a must go . The staff are friendly and you are guaranteed to have a good nutritional service, also an amazing range of raw vegan cake. I for one will be a return customer and recommend this place to all my friends and family and those I have just met too. Five stars

I'm allergic to dairy and don't eat grains so this is a great place that fits my diet. My favorites are the quesadilla, the sour cream and onion kale chips, and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich. Ive ate here a couple of times but normally get takeout every couple of weeks to have some great food while my husband and I have movie night.

I ve found heaven on earth! If I could eat here everyday of my life, for every meal, I would!

Before Peace Pies, I didn t know I liked raw food so much and how amazing and flavorful it could be! I m working on trying the whole menu and so far I ve loved everything I ve tried! Not to mention, the Kale chips are in another league of their own (yeah never thought I d say that either)!

The only unfortunate thing (for me) is that I moved to LA and there is no Peace Pies here. I think Peace Pies would kill it here! I m not begging (but am begging), PLEASE open a Peace Pies in LA!

I am sure I will be visiting San Diego frequently as I still have lots of family and friends there so when I do I will have to continue my quest of trying everything on the menu!

Smells terribly.
We had to wipe down our own table.
Crumbs and other debris left on all the other tables as well.
Ambiance is very poor.

This is my all time favorite vegan plant based restaurant in San Diego! It's a special place for people who are aware of the troubles that the modern western diet can inflict on our bodies. I love that I don't have to worry about soy when I order here. All these other vegan restaurants shove soy down your throat as a replacement for meat when too much soy causes health issues as well. They aren't aware of how nutrient dense plant based foods can be. A huge thankh you to the owner and the employees who made this vision come to life. A true jewel with flavorful food. Vegan doesn't have to be bland. Just learn how to cook or prepare vegetables the right way. And if you still can't, take your butt to peace pies order the whole menu and buy their recipe book .

My favorite so far is either the mushroom stroganoff or the quesadilla... ooh the Voltaire street tacos... mmmm and the Caesar salad wrap. Try it all! Did I mention soy free dairy free desserts?

Okay so the food is good but the customer service is horrible. Yesterday I got what I asked for today I did not and I got attitude. You are a restaurant a huge part of your job is customer service I do not need attitude and I do not need smart-ass comments when I order my food a certain way it's because that's the way I want it . I don't feel it is unreasonable when I order every vegetable in the kitchen to be put in my salad and I tell you I will pay extra that's what I would like done. I don't need to go down the list as a customer of what you may or may not have in your kitchen do I really need to say, do you have cucumbers? then please put them in my salad. do you have kale? please put it in my salad. do you have tomatoes? please put it in my salad and on and on and on and on and on or can I simply say make me a kale salad and please add every vegetable in your kitchen and please charge me extra that's a very simple request or do you pre make your salads the night before and you're not able to make fresh food when a customer orders at or is it your Monday and you just really don't care what a customer asks for you're going to make it the way you want it not the way the customer wants it that's bad service. Bottom line I will not spend $30 a day for salads for the next two weeks I will not tell the other hundred people in my class to go spend $30 on two salads and I will tell everyone I know that yeah the food may be good but you don't want to put up with the poor customer service and the bad attitude. So either take care of your customers or close your doors it's pretty simple.
