To make matters worse, the male staff members at the beach and pool area were similarly focused on pleasing white tourists while largely ignoring actual service. They were often seen vaping, offered no smiles, no greetings, and a complete lack of friendliness. While the band’s suck-up attitude and the poor staff service are significant downsides, Ms. Quyen’s outstanding performance kept my rating high.
