A beautiful old synagogue (4th oldest in US) was abandoned and cancelled until Mr. Orensanz, a Spanish artist, saved it. It's now an art gallery and an event venue.
Sarah Jessica Parker got married there, and a reform temple holds its High Holy Day services there.
Magnificent.

Do not work with these people for your next event. They canceled our family's event last year after the Buildings Department shut the space after the floor nearly fell through (look it up on Google) -- and they would not give us back our money! There are thousands of event spaces in NYC - the pictures might look nice, but run away from this one. The management is not above board.

GREEDY, GEEDY, Greedy....... all they want is as much money as possible!!! Beautiful spot but all they want is your money and maria will lie and steal as much as possible to see how far she can go to get as much of your money as she can!!!! it's a shame the lengths they will go to steal as much as possible! nice spot but not worth the money!! There are so many venue's that won't pad their bill to the max to steal from you! by "pad" I mean add every cost down to the dishes, lines, or number of people (that has NOTHING to do with them) they just wanna steal as much as possible! It's sad actually! Shop around and you'll save thousands!!!!!!

Saw a special concert there. Atmospheric, enchanting, and bohemian in style and architecture to me. Lighting effects were done to affect mood and feeling. I was in first row so sound totally enveloped us.
Seats were adequate but closely spaced making it a little more intimate than some might like.
I did not use the bathroom so can't comment on that.

A truly amazing place, over many years in NY I have known only now, on the occasion of the concert of the talented Carmen Consoli. It is a timeless place, a very pleasant acoustics, neither too big nor too small. It was the ideal setting for this fantastic concert by Consoli, an artist I knew but I appreciated even more for professionalism and skill. An evening not to be forgotten.

Beautiful location for an event. We went to a cocktail hour hosted by a nonprofit organization and was impressed with the beautiful architecture of the main room, which was back lighted to look beautifully gothic. I assume that it s just a bare space and the organizers had to bring in outside vendors for the food and drink. They had six small tables with four chairs each and three high-boy tables around the floor to allow for maximum networking space.

I have attended several events at Angel Orensanz Foundation and they are always of quality, there is no complaint about the space. It is crisp, spacious, and above all elegant. #Emporia did an excellent job in choosing this location for the final #TopModelLatina Gala
