Just picked up a new board from Offshore Snow Shapes in Niseko, and I’m already loving it! Took the cabin fever model out for a weekend trip to Whistler and it handled everything the mountain threw at us—powder, slush, and even tricky ice. The grip on the ice was surprisingly solid, never once slid out. Easily becoming my go-to all-mountain board now.

This is hands down one of the most versatile boards I’ve ever used. In just five days at Niseco, I tested it in everything from deep, heavy powder to choppy weekend crud. It glided effortlessly through trees and tracked out snow, never diving under the surface even in three feet of dense stuff. It handled heavier stashes with ease, making quick transitions feel dynamic and fun. On groomers, it’s a beast—super quick to turn and stable at high speeds, while still offering enough forgiveness for loose skids when you’re not in the zone. The base is fast, edges are reliable, and the pop out of carves is incredibly satisfying. It really is a one-board quiver for anyone splitting time between off-piste adventures and resort runs. After riding this, I’m already looking forward to trying more gear from Offshore Snow Shapes. Highly recommended!

I’ve been shredding for two decades and ridden all over the globe, but my time at Offshore Snow Shapes in Nisecho really stood out. Josh, Yama, and Sonny helped me swap through deck after deck, and that service was memorable. The craftsmanship and design are truly industry-leading. As a heavier rider—99 kilos even on a good day—I appreciate how these boards echo the era of strong, fast, durable full-camber boards that everything should be. They offer tons of pop and speed thanks to the race base, supported by beefy sidewalls and a tough top sheet. I ride the Snurfs Up model and love its versatility. The pintail tail gives great control for carving, while the wide nose floats effortlessly over chunder, bumps, bamboo, and hopefully just pow pillows. Currently living in the US and riding the Cascade volcanoes like Mt Baker, Mt Hood, and Mt Bachelor, I feel right at home. These boards were born right down the road from Mt Yotei, so they know how to handle the mountains. Don’t overlook these; they’re a genuine tribute to snowboarding’s rich history. Plus, the staff feel like family.
