O2 Glasgow

I went to Markiplier's You're Welcome Tour and the show was hilarious. The venue is ok but feels a little run down, and the lack of speakers in the back sometimes made it hard to hear the show over the screaming fans. Fully functional but nothing special

Cool venue but had a very long wait in the rain to get in and found that the sound wasn't great.

Layout is terrible. Toilets are A okay if you're female, and dreadful for the guys.

Sound quality is iffy.

Very intimate venue, they will take your water but there is free water in the bars

Great staff, welcoming and friendly and showed a great deal of patience and prifessionalism.. not easy at a heavy metal concert! However one aspect we thought was a real shame was that the fantastic bar staff received hardly any tips. More

Very organised venue with a little will-call booth at the front. There is ample standing room, some seats upstairs, as well as 3 bars inside which take cash and cards.

Been to a couple of gigs here and was disappointed by the sound both times. It s not really a good venue for loud bands.

Great atmosphere, always energetic and fun gigs. Plenty of easily accessible bars for drinks, friendly staff. Sound is sometimes a little muddy.

Place is a bit tired. Seating is unallocated so becomes a free for all at the start of a gig. Nothing nearby other than underground station (bridge street) so at least transport is sorted

Good venue place, especially for those out of Glasgow. I do not mind rough district it is placed or a bit dated decor. No problems occured and all staff members very helpful and pleasent.

I'm showing my age here, but the last time I attended this venue it was the Coliseum cinema (Krakatoa East of Java, 1968). Besides the stall seating area being torn out to make space for a standing auditorium and a couple of extra bars (of the drinking variety) I didn't see any major changes. For me, that was a good thing and added familiarity to the atmosphere that contributed to my enjoyment of the show. I don't know much of Jack Savoretti's music and was there as a treat gifted by my daughter. He has a marvelous singing voice and the the cosy venue lent intimacy to his largely love song oriented music. I had a blast and would be happy to go back.

It doesn't lend itself well to any live performance, the hall is too long when they should favour width. The sound is often muddy and for concerts too loud. If they decide the have seated events, the stalls become uncomfortable.

Has anyone in history ever managed to speak to this venue on the phone? You call one line after 6 when it opens, only to hear a message telling you to call another one which closes at 4! They don't post set times anywhere, making it anyone's guess. Then you arrive to be charged a fiver a pint and experience the worst sound quality since the gramophone.

Brilliant gig in great surroundings.
Definitely go if there's a band you want to see play,you'll really enjoy it... Promise!

Been to the academy a few times easy to get to goods gigs in the past so near city centre

Big space with seating available, but toilets not in a very accessible place.

Good venue, reasonable city centre prices for drink. Could do with some upgrades of the seating and toilets but other than that a good venue.

Toilet facilities are a joke, some comedian thought it funny to have a dump on the toilet roll.

Not the best venue, good layout but the sound isn't great and is almost too loud? Earplugs recommended for heavy metal gigs.

Take out a loan before going drinks are extortionate

Of all the venues in Glasgow, this has the smallest toilets and the worst acoustics. Like using a hedgehog for an ear bud. It also doesn't serve Irn Bru.

But there's plenty of bar space, nearby parking and they attract plenty of good bands.

Great venue for a mid-sized band. The Stranglers sounded awesome!

Great venue, great atmosphere. Limited alcohol selection but has all the basics and a decent selection of beers.

Gritty venue. Great sound. Not a bad replacement given the other O2 had burnt down.

Went to see Stone Temple Pilots concert on 12.6.19 Good venue, free water available. Easy to reach, very close to Bridge Street Subway station.

The sound is terrible, it ruined nearly every gig I've seen here. So bad that we won't go see our favourite bands if they play here. So many better and central venues in Glasgow to choose from.

Great nick offerman show - loved it - bar service pretty slow though - would have had another drink if they had been up to it

In its day must have been a site to behold. Art deco I think. A bit tired now when lights up but a great venue.

Travelled up for the Festival of Light held at the venue. Security were friendly and helpful on arrival and the bar staff in the upstairs bar were good too. The event was a little underwhelming but we had fun all the same and some of the acts were entertaining to watch!

Have been here a couple times, saw Ariana Grande here and was a blast! There are standing places near the stage and then seats elevated above the crowd. Very good place to see your favorite artist!

Just heading home from seeing Trixie Mattel at the 02. Cannot praise the wonderful staff enough. I am disabled and was using a walking stick this evening. I had phoned only yesterday to enquire about assistance and alternative seating. I was placed on an access list. When I arrived at the venue I was able to go in first to find my seat and was accompanied, then explained where everything was that I might need and the thought the night the lovely Robert checked on me to make sure I was alright. Everyone I came in contact with was lovely and very concerned, I felt completely looked after and can't wait to return. These guys are doing access right! One happy gal tonight

Sound quality very poor on the balcony. They could really do with extra speakers up there. Very limited toilet facilities. There are many better venues in Glasgow.

Great gig venue. Drinks far too expensive and toilets need updating.

I've been here for many gigs and I've had some memorable nights here. I have a gig coming up here very soon, I'm very excited to be back. I've never had a sine bad experience here. The beers are good and I'm happy to pay the prices.

Medium-size local venue with OK acoustics. A good range of music and often busy. Get there early for the queue

Great place to have an intimate concert , only thing is usually ladies toilets are mostly out of order and place needing a lick of paint to spruce it up ...

Love the venue, like the sound quality. And of course if you come to see Mastodon...wow. Is difficult to separate the music from the venue on this particular post.

Cracking venue. Sound is always great, staff are helpful and never need to wait too long to be served at one of the bars.
