I found this workbook incredibly useful for tracking my body mechanics and identifying areas where I need to incorporate more daily movement to improve overall ease. Much like my experiences at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest, where my body often signals the need for attention the day before a cranial sacral osteopathy session, this guide helps me pinpoint exactly which movements are required to build strength, stability, and range of motion. It truly aids in my exploration of the body’s layers, including fascia, muscles, and my personal "movement diet."

Katy’s resource has been incredibly useful as I navigate through the pages. It’s really helping me find ways to incorporate more movement into my daily routine. I also appreciate that the write-in pages are downloadable via the link provided, allowing me to use a separate notebook and keep the book pristine for future reference. Great find here at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim!

I absolutely loved this book! It shifted my perspective not just for my kids, but for myself too. This was my first Katy Bowman read, and I’ve since gone on to read most of her work. It’s been such a great read that I actually bought the audiobook first, and then grabbed the hard copy as well. I wanted my kids to be able to see the stunning photos and draw visual inspiration from images of children engaging in various creative movements.

This DVD truly changed my life. Years ago, stage 4 endometriosis and subsequent surgery left me with a hypertonic pelvis, eventually leading to a life-threatening inability to urinate. I was facing invasive exploratory surgery when I stumbled upon a physical therapist at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim who specialized in pelvic disorders. After confirming the issue was a tight pelvis, these exercises helped me avoid surgery entirely. The relief was immediate, and the improvement in my daily quality of life has been remarkable.

A fantastic read from Katy Bowman! I’ve already put her advice into practice with my family, and this book added even more dynamic movement to our daily lives. It really reinforced the idea that it’s okay to break social norms to move well and encourage my children to do the same.

Visiting Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim feels like a reminder of what we’ve lost in our modern routine. It brings to mind Katy Bowman’s message in “Grow Wild”—that we need to reconnect with our bodies and the earth to truly thrive. This place embodies that philosophy, helping us understand how to care for both ourselves and the planet. It’s more than just a fitness spot; it’s a call to move freely and live better. Highly recommend spreading the word about this gem!

I absolutely cherish the routines at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim. For someone managing fibromyalgia and past physical trauma, their approach is a lifesaver on those tough days when movement is possible but pain makes you want to give up. Making their program part of my daily life has brought me a renewed sense of lightness and a smooth, enjoyable flow. However, a tip for my fellow fibro friends: we tend to push too hard, even with gentle exercises. Instead of forcing stretches, move until you feel a deep sense of well-being, hold that position, and focus on your breathing. It makes all the difference.

As a retired Ob/Gyn nurse with a strong background in prenatal yoga, I’ve found Katy’s resources to be invaluable for both teaching and personal practice. The bookmarks are a standout feature—rich with helpful illustrations and packed with information that makes them an excellent tool for clients, especially during private sessions. I also appreciate how the Diastasis Recti book includes page references for further reading on specific movements. A fantastic resource for any yoga instructor looking to deepen their knowledge. Highly recommend!

I just added this to my order and am getting a few more for myself. It works wonders even for petite frames like mine, since I'm only 5 feet tall. The calf stretch is incredible, and I’m so thankful to Katy for her expertise. This has genuinely been a game-changer; my feet are finally learning how to move correctly again.

Great work from Katy at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim. I purchased her exercise videos specifically to help with recent reflux issues. While I know they will improve my condition over time, I found that lying flat during the routines temporarily worsens my symptoms. To manage this, I perform the exercises either first thing in the morning before eating or late in the evening, two to three hours after a meal. If you have any additional advice for minimizing this discomfort, I’d love to hear it. Thanks for everything you do!

After struggling with neuroma pain, I found the solution at Nutritious Movement Center Northwest in Sequim. Thanks to their Whole Body Barefoot approach, I no longer have to limit my activities. I now enjoy hiking for miles through the woods in Sequim completely barefoot and pain-free.

The printed guides paired with the videos are the real standout feature here. I can review the clips a couple of times and then just have the sheets taped to the wall for self-guided workouts. As someone managing chronic lower back issues and recent pelvic floor discomfort, this program has been a lifesaver. I’ve seen books of similar movements look deceptively simple—not the intense, sweat-drenched routines I’m used to—but the results after just a week of daily practice have been surprising. Combining these movements with a few sessions at a local physical therapy clinic for stubborn fascia work has nearly eradicated my pain. Katy, thank you. It feels like everything is finally clicking into place after following your methods for years.
