This Institute is established at very nice place and future it will be the best NIT institutes in India...

I will never forget this place..not only because this is institute of National Importance ..The best person in my life has studied here. Its okay that the Institute has not got best infrastructure, Its still in the development stage and likely to be expanded and relocated. Even with limited infrastructure and facilities it gives you sufficient environment to grow and develop. This place is so adorable. One of the destination of my life.

It is a nice place with students having a lot of freedom. Hostel facility is not good. There are six students living in one small room in first year.

No permanent campus, bad facilities. If you are getting any NIT with good campus then take that. Though some faculties were very hard working but i suggest only come here if you are not getting any good NIT and want an NIT degree. Environment is very good.

Worst climate as it feels like the heat of summer in October itself. Worst food too

Very small college campus, decent food, nice climate. 6 people live in one room in 1st year hostels. No cooler in rooms, only fans, one small locker, it's just OKAY. But nature has got immense beauty here, beautiful valleys, river Alaknanda and the place itself is beautiful. This place is exotic and one of its kind.

Great Place.Over time would improve a lot.I had a blast during Cliffesto'16. NIT has changed the whole vibe of the city.

Very dusty location as of now. Likely to be relocated. Organized a great music fest in Feb 2017.

NIT Uttarkhand's placement officers are lazy beacuse they don't have guts to make good placement. I don't want to recommend anyone to waste there time for study there. 2018 & 2019 baths of M.Tech - Zero placement.

Boring place with nothing much to do around. WiFi here is a joke, you will be able to do Google search in your lucky days. You won't find anything good to eat in almost whole town. For a place located in Himalayas this town is rather polluted (locals keep burning plastic) and dirty.
The only good thing about this college is the characters drawn on the wall.

College is in starting phase.....so buildings are not good.

Stay away from this place even if this is the last available option. Campus is split into two parts and only connectivity between the two is through national highway. Average WiFi speed will stay below 40KBps(if working at all). Reliance jio has no coverage in this hell, Airtel 4G is slower than any 3g Network in other parts of country. More than 90% of the teachers are stupid, lack sufficient knowledge related to the subject or lack ways to deliver this knowledge and will try their best to make your life as miserable as possible. Moreover there is still a lot of raging here.

The institute is of national importance with good infrastructural set up and faculties. It is blessed with students all over the country.Students from such institutes have great career scopes and are respected else where in the country.The campus is quite accessible and is just near the main road in srinagar,which is the largest town in garhwa himalayas. Events and technical fest organized by the institute is quite popularl and awesome

I visited once when I appeared in walk in interview for contractual faculty recruitment.

NIT Uttarakhand is running in temporary campus of ITI Shrinagar, has limited facility and limited space. The journey from rishikesh to shrinagar is typical hilly which may scare you. The buses are running in high speed while roads are dangerous. You can directly see ganga is flowing in the bottom of hills and busses are running on the peak of the hills. Hills are too much straight which increases fear in the mind.

No facilities @ nit ke nam pakah is located on remote location, where there are no faculty and no college life.
The student's school is 6 years old and has been studying on the National Highway from Kanpur to the year 2016 and in the year 2018 it is a student's accident and the body has been untouched.
And in the session 2019 admission le rhe, without proper facilities, i request to all youngsters who are going to take admission, please do not take them, so do not say yes, agr tere ko a movie bh dkhna hoga to tujhe yaar 6se 7 We do not want to travel, we do not have the right facilities, we do not have a hostel, and we do not want to go to the private school, so that we can go to the private placements in Bhopal, which is 50% and not more than 10 lakhs.
