Newbury college

Very much enjoyed my time studying at Newbury College.

Is newbury college haunted a couple years ago me and a friend had an experience

Discgraceful college. They treat their staff like dirt in the distance learning department. I would avoid applying as a student or for a job, very poor.

Really enjoyed my Spanish classes over the last couple of years. Excellent teaching and so much fun meeting new people and making new friends. This course has opened up a world of opportunities to me that I never even considered, from involement in local and international events to exploring my own creativity.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Newbury College! My class was interactive and fun and the teacher was great and always at the end of an email if I needed help, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities at the site are fantastic, and there are tonnes of extra curricular activities you are able to get involved in.

I took an IT course because I have a great passion for IT and it was awful, the teacher had no idea what he was doing and I am planning to goto a different college next year. I had friends that were in different courses and they were a waste of time because they hardly know what they are doing too. Some of the students there only appear for a few weeks then never come in and they only choose a course because it s manitory to do college until ur 18. If your about to goto college don t choose this one, goto Reading College and any others around it if you live in Newbury because it is not worth your time and effort.

The college claims to offer Level 3 courses for free but then makes you complete a level 2 in an irrelevant subject in order to squeeze more money out of the government. I believe this is false advertising. When I called to complain the admin person could not tell me who the governing body was or how to complain outside of the organisation.

A bit of a let down considering I waited months to start the course. I'd advise people to study elsewhere if they can.

Currently doing a Web Design for Beginners course and absolutely loving it, the tutor Shaun is fantastic and the two hours sessions we have every week are flying by! The structure of the lessons are flowing perfectly and all of the content is great for beginners.
