New Start Counseling

Friendly and personable. It's always hard to find someone you can trust to talk to. I've found it here :) the ladies who work in reception are always polite and kind and professional. They go out of their way to help you if need and my counselor is ALWAYS professional and kind and just great.

Absolutely terrible! The office staff never answers the phone and will rarely call you back- if you miss that call you miss your tiny window to speak to a person. Scheduling is month to month IF you can get someone to answer the phone. The first counselor we waited WEEKS to see and she saw my daughter twice and then 'left' the practice, even though I continued to see her in the office. The next counselor we waited weeks to see was very kind yet she did not seem to ever want to see my child (she canceled appointments and completely did not show up for one appointment).

Dale King is an excellent therapist. Some of the biggest and best decisions I ve ever made have been thanks to her knowledgeable and encouraging professional counsel. She combines research-based therapy with real life advice and experiences. She also offers faith-based solutions to real life crises for those who want it. I highly recommend her services. Thank you, Dale King!

These people don t know what they are talking about. They are extremely over priced for no reason. Do not reccomend. They can t keep track of their records. Definitely do not go if it is for court because they will only make your situation worse.

Dr. May is so wonderful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I love her calm demeanor, and how she interacted with my son. The staff is also friendly!

We've had such a good team helping our family there. Practical help with a caring hand. I wish they had evening appointments to miss less work/school though.

I have suffered from severe anxiety, depression, and devastating circumstances through almost my whole life and I never believed in psychology before I met Tim. Words cannot express his genuine expertise in developing and individualizing a plan based on everything I have experienced in life. He has allowed me to express the most embarrassing imperfections I have, things I thought I could never voice to anyone. Tim not only listens but he understands specific therapies that affect the brain at its deepest and scientific level. He loves to excel in understanding the brain and how it affects our emotions and experiences personally. I cannot imagine not having the therapy I receive regularly, which is very important in healing and recovering. Tim has a very precious gift, a gift that should be shared with the world, but that gift extends to every doctor associated with A New Start Counseling Center. When you have a practice that includes multiple practitioners and they exchange professional knowledge and experiences, you have not only one opinion but you know that without a doubt you will receive the most utmost care based on a world of knowledge. If you are hesitant about trying to receive relief from your aliments, this is the best chance you could ever take, a chance to change your life forever.

Facility asked for patience and understanding when I was cancelled and rescheduled several (3+) times by their therapist Linda Lewis due to her personal affairs but did not reciprocate the courtesy when I cancelled due to a visit to the ER. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of consideration is neither acceptable nor what I'm seeking from a Therapist. My anxiety level increased greatly after our conversation.

Kind and caring professionals. I'm so thankful that we found this place.
