With possibly the poorest quality circuit fab in the United States, Multilayer Technology of Irving, Texas gives American manufacturing capability a black eye.
Using antiquated, poorly maintained equipment, this bucket shop is led by an incompetent ownership comprised wholly of individuals who cannot seem to grasp the most basic of American values. That of pride in your work and your product.
The list of defects found in virtually all circuit products sold by Multilayer Technology can be used as a guide of how NOT to build a circuit board: plating voids, plating nodules, gold plating of sub-standard purity, copper, nickel, and gold plating so thin as to violate every industry standard. plating irregularities ranging from plating so thick as to plug holes, to voided holes, all on the same circuit board. Sloppy handling habits resulting on dented boards, boards covered with soldermask fingerprints, drills broken in holes and plated over.
Internal and external circuitry so thin that while a board may pass electrical test, it will invariably fail in the field after only a few hours of cycle.
Soldermask so thin (.0005), that boards will need to be returned even before assembly can be completed.
All of this and more, shipped to customers with the full knowledge of the people building the board, the rubber stamp plant manger, and the ethically challenged ownership team.
In short: WARNING!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING ANYTHING FROM MULTILAYER TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!

I have been doing business with Multilayer for 12+ years. They do great work and employees seem very happy when I have visited. Small responsive company that is great to work with. Not the prettiest shop, but their quality and delivery has been consistently good on my high reliability product.
