It’s not waterproof, so you’ll need to add your own protection, and the internal construction feels a bit unfinished. The toroid is just hanging by its wires inside the casing, causing a rattle if you shake the case, and the windings are noticeably messy and uneven. Once I sorted those issues out myself, it worked fine, but given the quality control, I wouldn’t recommend it. You can easily build a better unit with a higher power rating for a fraction of the cost if you have the time, or just look elsewhere for a more robust option.
