Located in the amazing Chinatown Supermarket, Moon Bakery is a must-visit! The baked goods are fresh and delicious, and you really have to try the shaved ice! I had the sweet red bean shaved ice with fresh cut fruit something I had never tried before and LOVED it! Who would have known that beans made such a great topping?

The service was fast and friendly and you can t help but root for this family-owned business. Drop in once and you re going to end up a lifelong customer!

Had the small mixed fruit bingsu for $5 or $6 in a small cup. Nothing special and doesn't taste like the legit Korean bingsu. The shaved ice is so bland. I've tried this in other retaurants in and outside the country and they have creamy sweet flavored shaved ice. The toppings are also very little for the price.

So bummed that Moon Bakery will be closed for part of the summer! Their pat bingsoo (shaved ice with sweet red bean paste and sweetened condensed milk) is my favorite frozen dessert. Other favorites include the sweet bun with green bean filling (amazing! give it a chance!) and the sweet and crispy gombo bun filled with whipped cream. The staff are so friendly. It smells wonderful and you can tell everything is super-fresh. I feel so lucky to have discovered this little gem!

We went in right after they opened this morning and bought a bunch of still-warm baked goods, like veggie-filled rolls, a sausage roll and white bread. My six year old said, as he inhaled the sausage roll, "This is the only food in heaven." High praise from a kid!

What a fun little bakery! They have a large assortment of sweet and savory breads that are all delicious and fun to try. The owners actually came out and greeted us and asked us how we liked the food. This is a through and through mom and pop bakery. We bought a bunch of different breads because we couldn't decide. The mochi bread and rice pastry are an absolute must. We also tried the sweet red beans served on shaved ice with fresco cut fruit and it was to die for. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fun ethnic food and love to support small businesses!

Only place I know of in Utah where you can order bingsoo. It s a delicious must try treat. I would personally shy away from red bean flavor but that is just personal preference, I really enjoy both the strawberry and mango flavors. And of the baked goods are amazing as well!

I can say their breads are Korean traditional kinds. I love it!! It reminds me my young old memories. My family orders a cake whenever one of my family members has a birthday party. The cake is my husband's favorite. It's not too sweet. It feels healthier than other American cakes.

Just found out about Moon Bakery... What a Delicious Find, an authentic Korean Bakery!! Being Gluten intolerant, I have found my new Favorite go-to place.

The owner was very pleasant and helpful -- He explained and described the many pastries, breads, and cakes. I brought home, a mango roll cake, and a variety of doughnuts and pastries which were all a BIG HIT!! The taste and textures of all the samplings were delicious, not to sweet, just right, leaving you wanting more! AND made with No preservatives, Low Sugar, Low Sodium, Rice Flour, Dark Chocolate!
A new healthier and delicious experience!

The best korean asian bakery in utah so far. I go here at least once a week . I love the baked croquettes (potatoes, peas and glass noodle inside), mango castella, butter cream bread, redbean mochi, hotdog bun, pizza bun. Reasonable price. Fresh made daily. What's leftover today's bread, they'll sell it tomorrow but 50% off. And it still taste great and fresh. The owner is very friendly and pleasant.

Cute little bakery INSIDE the Chinatown market - you won't see any sign of Moon from outside. Note that almost all their items have eggs, so options are limited if you have egg allergies. The bread is all very fresh and VERY soft. Selection is limited, but all pretty good. My favorite was the cream cheese bread.
