Favorite cocktails on the island! BRG has a great reputation on long island and I recently heard that they just opened a new location in Connecticut! I am a frequent Monsoon visitor and I must say that I will remain a loyal customer for years to come. Monsoon gives you a classy NYC style vibe, without the trouble of leaving the island. The staff at Monsoon is friendly, welcoming and always helpful. My favorite dishes at Monsoon are ironically the french fries! Lol. The sushi is amazing, definitely worth taking advantage of the promotions that they offer. For people who enjoy nightlife in Babylon, Monsoon on the weekends is certainly a hot spot to visit! Live music, drink promotions and great company make Monsoon one of my favorite places to go out. ENJOY!!

My husband and I went on a recommendation. We did not have a reservation. The host said he could fit us in if we vacated the table within 90 min because he needed the table for a reservation. We agreed, were seated and ordered quickly. We sat there for an hour and 15 min waiting for the food. The server kept promising us that it was coming while everyone else around us received their food. When it finally came, the food was cold to the point of inedible. We had reached our limit with the restaurant, or so we thought... We decided to leave, put on our coats and the manager came right over. He proceeded to throw his hands up in the air (as if we were robbing the place) and saying'Woah! Woah! Woah! What's the problem?!' We told him what happened and instead of apologizing, he tested the temperature of our uneaten food to see if we were lying. We were so embarrassed because everyone was looking at us. Only then did he apologize, told us it was because they were busy and offered us a complimentary gift card and asked us to give them another try. We took the card, left and didnt give them a bad review. Fast forward and months later we returned with friends and family for a birthday. We did not tell them about what had occurred. The restaurant wasn't too busy and the service was fine until it was time to pay. When we gave the comp card as a small portion of the payment, we were questioned by the staff on where did we get the card from, how did we get it, did somebody give it to us, and what were the circumstances surrounding how we came into possession of the card? They treated us like we stole the card and left our friends and family to wonder what was going on. The staff was being sent by the manager over and over to ask about the card. The manager never came himself/herself to ask, and we were made to feel like second-class citizens AGAIN. We will NEVER go to Mosoon willingly ever again and we definitely won't recommend anyone else to go their either.

For the last two years my family has spent Thanksgiving at Monsoon. My father is a veteran, and since his knee surgery we have a hard time getting together with extended family for the holidays. Monsoon offers a delicious and generous Thanksgiving dinner for vets and their whole family. I can't express how much we appreciate this wonderful act of kindness!

Don t expect them to keep a reservation for your arrival. The server also asked me if I wanted the Red or White Chardonnay?! Don t need to say much more

Response to owner:
Already contacted through your website with no response. Seems like you don't want to take initiative until it goes up public. Don't hire warm bodies. A bit more knowledgeable and productive staff members make the guest experience extremely different.

Do you crave to eat a distantly Asian-inspired overpriced salad in strange lighting that may or may not induce an epileptic seizure? Do you long for the opportunity to pay double the price for a spicy tuna roll? Do you yearn for the ambience of a B-rate KPop music video set to enjoy sub par cocktails? Then Monsoon is for you!

Very simple. You hit Monsoon with the intention to splurge. Japanese cowboy roll is a must. Wagyu hot rock....pretty sure we ordered five. If you you don't try the lobster & shrimp wonton, you're making a mistake. Attentive service. Verstaile menu.

This place is truly a jewel in the neighborhood. Convenient parking in the back.

Highly recommended. You won't be sorry.

This place is useless, this is the second time I've call regarding a Birthday party for 20 people. I spoke to Kayla twice and twice she promise that she would mail me information about the difference Birthday packages still haven't received anything. Well screw then and this place their lost what idiots.

Honestly don't understand what the big deal is about this place. They served me a tiny tiny piece of salmon like it was specialty gourmet food from a top notch restaurant. The seats are so close to each other I was literally banging elbows with my neighbor. The bill was just crazy expensive for the experience. The music was so low all I heard was muttering of other people's conversations. Lastly, instead of serving bread like regular places do before drinks come out, they served us edamame...

Very nice, tasty fusion cuisine. It has been three years since dining here, but I remember the rich feeling, low lit decor, comfortable seating and exquisitely tasty cuisine. I went for the first time with my Honey who recommended Monsoon. They did not disappoint and neither did she. The lady has refined taste in restaurants. Three thumbs up! Okay, two. I don't have three thumbs.

Great place for young people (21 - 35).
Saturdays are busy days, you can find a lot of people here. A place for dance is not big, so when here a lot of people, you do not have space for dance. Food and cocktails are good. O, I forgot about music.
Music is fantastic!!!!

From the moment you walk it the Monsoon, a converted bank, I forget that I'm on Long Island but feel as if I'm in NYC. The decor is modern and hip. The staff is attentive an friendly. There are two different Seating areas we sat in the downstairs section. The menu offers a wide selection of food that, I can't envision a person not being able to find something that they'll enjoy! They have a wide selection of appetizers and entree's. Went with my brother Phil and our good friend Yvonne to catch up old times. When you create a restaurant it doesn't matter how beautiful the restaurant is or great the staff is or how wonderful the food is... if each department doesn't compliment each other. Each was excellent. So while I have eaten in many restaurants and owned operated one I know how difficult it is to each at the the top of there game. Monsoon is at the Top with Food, Decor, and Service the you rarely see on Long Island. Look forward to eating there again!

I went for the first time on a Sunday during Restaurant Week with a large group and really enjoyed it. The waiter was extremely helpful and accommodating for our large group and answered all of our questions. We had the option for a price fixed restaurant week menu, the surf and turf special (sunday's only) or the regular menu. The restaurant week menu was the way to go for my first time there - $40 for 3 courses and 3 wine pairings! You can't go wrong! The food was delicious. I would definitely go back for the Sunday surf and turf specials.
