Great service and delicious bagels. I dont know where they get there crumb cake but I can never go in without getting one.

Coffee is hot. And ice coffee is done right, brewed and chilled, not watered down with ice. Bagels are freshly made and short orders and deli options are prepared quick and tasty

Waiting in line for 10 min, so finally got to front, nobody asking am I helped, picking next person behind me :(

I order a spinach and swiss cheese omelet with a buttered scooped out bagel . It was so delicious. High recommend it.

It is an overpriced bagel store with ordinary quality. I paid for a four mini (small) bagels with no sides or any additives/toppings 16$!!!!! they should review their prices.

Wonderful bagels, funny and friendly staff, generally fast service. Gotta go somewhere else for coffee, alas, but there's enough in quick walking distance around here to make up for that slight deficit.

Every single time I ve gone here they have made my order wrong. I went in today for the 5th time asking for my normal order without cheese. Yet every single time, I m given cheese & then given a new bagel order WITH ANOTHER THING NOT RIGHT. I ve tried to enjoy my time getting bagels from here but MBC has failed to write down their orders bc clearly they can t remember them right considering the orders I receive are always wrong. Always feel like I ve wasting money going here bc I can never enjoy my meal. Either never toasted or contains cheese which I can t eat. Also like to say that when my order was redone, it was not only rushed but the Taylor ham is literally raw & not fully cooked. Bagel also wasn t toasted like I asked. They need better mechanisms for taking orders bc NO ONE can remember a simple bagel order.

I don''t know fast line moves during weekdays, but on weekends better to drive to some other place rather then wait 15 min.

Can t beat Modern Bagel. Worked here for years, and Billy is always improving. Moved to North Carolina, and I miss this place! Such a staple in Fair Lawn. Miss y all!

Some things are worth the wait. This bagel shop is busy for a reason. The Bagels are the best./ Great assortment of bagels and spreads.Breakfast sandwiches are made while you wait, always fresh eggs and crisp bacon. Lunch sandwiches are made fresh to order and packed with yummies. The staff is friendly and works hard. Sit in the side lounge and relax with your meal and friends. Coffee is hot and they have a great selection of teas.

i had to sit and wait for 10 minutes while the overweight female "manager" yelled at her older coworker about yesterday's duties while they both just watched me wait... in the morning... while i was trying to get to work... for 10 minutes!!!

One of the best tasting bagels in the area, always fresh, and the prices are very reasonable, the staff is always polite. 5 stars

Food is great. Have been here 3 times in the past few days. Have had a great experience until today. The lady taking the next order jumped right over me with out asking if I had been taken care of.

Torn about this place. They do a better job with their breakfast sandwiches than others in the area but their process where a single person handles every part of your entire order is very inefficient and makes things take forever. At Bagel Culture nearby at least I can text in an order in advance. Wish they did that here too.

While I usually enjoy this bagel shop I was unfortunate to have contracted a foodborne illness from this shop. I ordered my usual a bagel with cream cheese and lox, on 10/27 and began to feel ill within 6 hours after eating the bagel. It is unclear what food or foods caused the illness. I experienced severe abdominal pain, fever, body aches, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. These symptoms lasted over 48 hours and I am still recovering. I hope this post encourages people to be more mindful of food safety guidelines, especially food service workers. Lastly, if people choose to eat here you may want to rethink your order or bagel shop options.

Great, great place. It's a nice pit stop before work in the morning to get your bagel & coffee fix; they have a variety of bagels, cream cheese and muffins and of course your typical breakfast sandwiches. No complaints. The strawberry cream cheese is the best.

My favorite Fair Lawn bagel. Modern Bagel bagels were a staple growing up. Really demonstrates how great North Jersey bagels are

Great food. Go early for hot, soft bagels. Saturday is super busy... Grill is off at 2:30 every day.

Such a cute bagel place. You can watch them make the bagels fresh. The bagels are really good. The iced coffee is self serve, which i love. I need the perfect amount of sugar and cream.

Best bagels in the area, and some good other food too

This is place is ok. I've had better bagels but the service is slow. Everytime I go it's like they don't listen to me. Sometimes they ask me multiple times to repeat the order and other times they put cheese when I clearly didn't ask for it on my sandwich. It's very inefficient in terms of having one person complete the order because it holds up the line. There should be a person on register, someone just for bagles, and someone just for the grill like a normal place. I'm not coming back, it's a waste or my money and time honestly.

this is the worst bagel shop ive ever been to in my life! its run by incompetent kids who never get your order correct, there is constant bickering behind the counter and today the owner in the middle of the morning rush decides nows a good time to cook himself breakfast! maybe wait uptill after 9? or when theres not a line out the door? if someone opens up a shop next to this place they will be out of business in a week and i hope it happens

This is a great place to stop by for breakfast and lunch. Friendly environment and quick service. Also it s relaxing to sit in the dinning room and hang out with friends

Bagels are still warm at 10 am. Pumpernickel was great.

You won't find a better bagel shop in all of NY or NJ. The bagels are top notch, and the service is always good. Line out the door usually only takes a few minutes because they have like seven workers behind the counter.

Sorry . Why didn t u ask for more. Most people don t like too too much cream cheese. No need to tell everyone. U should talk to your sever or the manager. U don t get any satisfaction by telling everyone else. Or do u?

He is blaming me... How do I know how much the cream cheese applied on the bagel until I open it. you want people to open it everytime in the store? Yes, you were right I don't get any satisfation by telling people this but they should know. I expected your apology but you are blaming me.?

Used to be better place. 6 people behind the counter serving 8 customers taking 15 minutes and having total mess in the line.

Service was terrible. At least 3 people got therr orders bf i did. The guy working treated me like i was a nuisance. They charged me 9 bucks for a bagel sandwich and drink. I should went back and argued for over charging me, but by this point i just wanted to get out of there. The bagel was hard too.

I always get great food whether it's breakfast or lunch. The prices are fair. The food is fresh and done just the way I like it. The service is fast and friendly.
