Millenium Plaza Dubai

my over all experience with this hotel, WAY BELOW EXPECATIONS
I planned to work from home in Dubai for 45 nights and unfortunately I choose this hotel based on the rating (5 starts) which I believe is way overrated.
When I arrived they put me in a shi**y room which is dirty and dusty. I was shocked to experience this issue, then I contacted them next day and they changed the room for me, I would appreciate this never happened as this no one can stay in such room with this condition, so I was not sure what they were trying to sell here.

2nd issue: INETERNET!
Internet was super slow and disconnecting like crazy, I informed the hotel many times over the course of 30 days, they kept unplugging the router and nothing changed, I had to pay 800 Dirhim (200 EUR) to 4G bundles so I can be able to work properly.
it was after the day 30 that I made a scene at the hotel basement and then the IT engineer put router in my room, then the problem was fixed..
why this was not solved from the beginning? why you never listened to my complaint properly and took proper action??

3rd: Egyptian Staff is Not Friendly and does have the sense of Hospitality

Staff is not taking immediate actions to resolve my simple complains as if my satisfaction is not an issue to them.

one day a very bizarre thing happened when electricity cut off and I was stuck at the 49th floor at iftar time with no internet, not being able to work and not being able to contact the reception as there was
no landline connection, so it was a complete blackout for 3 hours!!!.
no one contacted me during that time to tell me the issue or try to apologize for this incident, even after the issue was fixed and elevators are back again, no one contacted me to apologize or even say what happened, I had to ask them my self.

then I took it here and made a review that they deserve, they called me to respond to this review and apologized for this inconvenience offering me a plate of fruits and lunch at the restaurant. which I thought as they are trying to bribe me, but I took it with good intention and accepted the apology, then what I was thinking of happened, when staff called me that night to remove my review. well, I did remove it out of curtesy, but this review is not going to be removed as the following incident happened.

I ordered food to have iftar, that cost like 3 EUR (15 dirhim), and I was in the middle of something, so I called them to pay for it and I will pay them later.. then shockingly, they told me the hotel does not have 15 Dirhim!! when I made it clear that I cannot go to the lobby, they paid the guy.. then the restaurant called me after to inform me that they were rude to the delivery guy, which is very unprofessional.

So if you are reading this, please tell me how much dinner cost and 2 apples and a banana cost so I can pay it back to you gladly.

Note: food was not even tasty.

hallways carpets are dirty, elevator has stuck gums in the back of the handle, which is disgusting!!!, mattress had yellow stains and until this moment it has not been changed, when I asked them to change it, they told me that is why we put the cover on it!! ew!! disgusting.

I am really disappointed with this hotel, and putting 2 starts rating on it is still overrating.

Such an amazing experience! At first we were not going to stay here, but after a series of unfortunate events, we were lead here and so glad we stayed. The front desk lady was so nice, gave my 2 kiddos backpacks and let us choose what floor we wanted to be on. The hospitality and class of this hotel is A+ definitely recommend!!!

Enjoyed our stay at this 5 star hotel at Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. We booked the sky premium room which was on the 59th floor. The views were breathtaking. The location has easy access to the metro and lot of places to eat along the stretch. Highly recommended.

My experience at Millennium plaza was fantastic. Every things were perfect. Concierge Bishnu is phenomenal. I strongly recommend.

I give millennium plaza a 5 star review! From the first moment we arrived to book our room Gad was so helpful and offered us a Beautiful room at an even better price than we had seen on booking.com. Half way through our stay we had to change our flight and head home early,
Yehia was so helpful and accommodating through our

It is a very nice hotel. Near to the metro station is the best part for me. All the staffs are very friendly and help you whenever you need. I really enjoyed staying in the hotel. I was very happy that I found a guy in health club with same name as mine. Mr. Tutul, he is very helpful and caring. I would like to thank Dhiraj also from health club. They both are very funny, friendly and helpful. Thank you guys and we will meet again.

Centrally located Hotel , Everything you will find around the Hotel. Reception are helpful. Mostly I like service of Concierge specially Bishop. Highly recommended.

Central as well as good location & nice home away from home with all needed amenities.

Just across the road.....you'll get into Metro Station to get you anywhere in Dubai.

Also, there are a good number of fast foods, restaurants, pharmacies, stores and bureau de change around....for your convenience.

The only snag is their breakfast...though its B&B (although the restaurant staff are very friendly & professional), but its the same set of food served daily...so get ready to pay more to have your meals prepared on order

Nice hotel and room also. Very nice view, pool was also clean. Very professional staff specially concierge Bishnu. Strongly recommend.
