I would tell anyone that knows someone looking at going here, to seriously consider going elsewhere. There are so many other colleges or universities that they could attend. There are numerous issues my wife has run into with this place.

My wife graduated from this place about twelve years ago and went back to get her nursing degree. It was a great college to attend back then, very accommodating, high standards, and the personnel very helpful. However, it has changed a great deal. The front office personnel are rude and not that helpful. My wife had to go three different occasions to give them her transcripts (high school and college). They kept asking for them even though these should have been on file since she graduated from there. I can't remember the person she talked to but she was very rude and didn't want to be bothered.

My wife just talked to her advisor and they changed the standards and prerequisites to enter the nursing program. They changed these just two weeks ago in the middle of a semester. You think that would be changed for the following semester not during one. My wife is supposed to be grandfathered into the program since she did her entent to enroll prior to these changes. Now they are changing rules, standards, and prerequisites on her mid-semester. She has to get a full grade higher than she did prior or risk having to do it again or dropped. Not sure that is even legal. Also, they are trying to make her take courses and the accuplacer test, which she has already taken. This is very costly to do again. Not just the money but with time as well. I have heard them doing this to others, must be a good money maker.

There are other issues as well but I don't have time to name them all. If you are considering going here or know someone who is, please be careful and beware is all we can say. They can change what they want whenever they like at your expense.

I met a wonderful teacher and a student advisor.
They are very supportive and hard workers.
