Even now, while it’s plugged in, the charge is slowly leaking down to 33%, which is pretty shocking for a new part. I’m heading in to get a replacement, but if this issue pops up again, I’ll just skip the middleman and buy directly from HP next time.

Picked up this card at the Micro Center in Phoenix and it’s been a powerhouse. It handles every modern game I throw at it without breaking a sweat, staying super cool—never even hitting 60°C. With EVGA stepping back, this might just become my new favorite brand. I did have a hiccup with my first unit showing some instability, but the folks at Sapphire Tech Support were great about it. They walked me through the troubleshooting and suggested a swap, which fixed the problem completely. If you run into any issues, definitely reach out to Sapphire; they’re really good at helping you sort out whatever hasn’t been tried yet.

I picked up this machine from the Micro Center in Phoenix about a month ago and have been really impressed with its performance. Running Cyberpunk on the highest settings gets a bit warm, but the visuals are stunning and the fans do a great job keeping things cool without being too noisy. I haven't hit any snags playing Dishonored 2 or any of the other major 2024 releases, and the 4090 handles everything perfectly.
