Really nice and clean. Good snacks and good drinks. Not even a problem with the waitress. Left a good tip last time I went and will go again when the time will let me. :)

There was an odd atmosphere and the drinks were fairly expensive. We also got charged up front for our drinks even though we had intended on taking a tab on our table, I'm not sure if this is custom but it's strange.

Two visits and not disappointed. Relaxing place for a good beer. Several televisions and stations for sports enthusiasts. Terrace in summer. Simple and good service: no need for more.

Staff is very friendly and the quality of their food and drinks are nice.

I would recommend this place more for their drinks and Irish atmosphere, which I enjoy personally.

This review is strictly for Danielle Dickie. I met Danielle the night prior at a fine establishment called Brutopia. I happened to leave my license at this place (for tab purposes) and completely forgot about it. Amidst an Ice Wine tour the next day I was messaged through a social media platform with the following information. "Hi this is Danielle, yada yada yada you can swing by Mcleans Pub I have your license you happened to forget it at Brutopia". Not only was I surprised to find out I left it but I was taken aback by the notion that someone I met the night prior would go out there way to return it to me. For those wanting to "poo poo" this sentiment by thinking "oh he could've just gotten a duplicate" that's not the point. I live state side about 6 hours away and I am forever grateful by this act of kindness. As for the Pub itself from what I experienced in the 5 minutes or so I was there. Very eclectic atmosphere, the vibe was dope and the food smelled good. Beyond all of that, trust your time with a place that hires amazing people like Danielle.

Great place to have a couple of drinks and eat some finger food with friends. Went there to watch the NBA playoffs and the vibe was great. Staff is very friendly.

Cool pub to watch hockey at. They have big projectors for the game. There was live music playing during intermission of the games. Beers came in all sizes including 10L. The food we had was good for bar food. I would come back to have a drink or some apps in the future.

Very bad place lot waiting time staff not respectful

The only "good" thing about this place is their 10 litre girafes. When you include tip, it'll cost you more than 100$ if you put your pride aside and drink Labatt's 50... But you'll be the focal point of the place while it lasts. That is the 2 stars. Food, well, you are surrounded by greasy spoons and all of them'll give you something better.

Nice pool table. Lots of choices at karaoke. I enjoyed it.

Friendly staff, nice crowd. I went there for the astronomy evening. Staffing was a little lacking on that evening, which resulted in slow service.

Ordered a pitcher of Labatt and got two glasses.... I expect more from a Irish Pub, Guinness glass is to be used only to serve Guinness. Please go and read the Guinness Pub best practices manual. You may ask, why Labatt and not Guinness then... this is not an Irish Pub.

Great beer selection, excellent staff and a tremendous place to meet in groups and/or watch the big game...

It may not be the best but I had so many great nights at the Mclean's pub, it is really one of my favorite spot in Montreal!!!

Great pub on Peel right close to Saint Catherine and the main train station. Service excellent. Drunken mushrooms also very very yummy.

Perferct place for a pint in a great easy going atmosphere. Everything about this place is fun going from staff , ambiance, drinks , etc. Offers live entertainment , and themed sports night events.

Great place to enjoy a beer on Rue Peel. Outdoor patio very nice to sit on, and a great selection of beers to enjoy!

Good pub vibe. They got a good selection of food. I go there for the wings. They also have a lot of TVs. Great place to watch the game.

Great place to stop in an have a pint if you're in downtown Montreal!

Great place to go with friends Everyone is super friendly, second floor has two pool tables and sometimes they have a DJ too. Great if you want to reserve for many people. I wouldn't suggest bringing a date, as it's too noisy.

Love McLean's, it's my favourite pub in Montreal. The first time I was there was Super Bowl XXXVI (Go Pats) and I've always had a fun time whenever I visit. Great atmosphere, great service and really excellent food. Even though I don't come to Montreal as often as I used to, I know it'll be my first stop the next time I'm in town.

Great place, environment and service. A bit more expensive than local ones around Montreal.

A real institution in Montreal, super friendly staff

Would give it 5 stars, waitress was great. Atmosphere great. A friend and I ordered a shocktop, and we pegged it as hogarden almost immediately. We sent it back and found out they were out of shocktop and just put another beer in shocktop glasses thinking we wouldn't know. Kinda shifty, but they did make it better for the 'mistake'.

One of the best pubs in town. Either to just eat or party with your friends. They always play the big sports events. No cover.

Always a good time, service, drinks & food very good. Big screens for good viewing of games...

Visited on NYE. Was quite busy so didn't get to sit in much. Overall a pleasant experience.

Good beer at reasonable prices, good food, amazing ambiance. Sports events on big screen, not too loud on sports nights.
Good decor, greatly situated downtown, close to metro and bus lines.
Always crowded, and they have a second floor with pool tables and a more "relax" ambiance.

Service was good prices pretty normal for q bar in downtown obvious. Nothing special really!!

This is a nice cozy pub. Exactly what we are looking for to get a beer with a friend and watch a game.

The service is great and I usually love coming here for drinks.. but this evening, I ordered a small Caesar salad and it was atrocious. It was 9.50 and had terrible dressing and was made with mozzarella instead of Parmesan! i know it s just pub food, but I ve tasted much better salads at lower prices.

Great pub downtown. Had burgers and they were tasty. Cool thing is the beer tower. Creates a fun conversation piece. If you are looking for pub atmosphere in the downtown area, it's a great place.

Great place and great service and great staff and food is tasty and filling and waitress was always making sure we had beers and if we needed anything.

One of Montreal's staples must go to and discover asap.

The kitchen makes a mean butter chicken and everything is perfect munchie food. Hard to pick a favorite. Fried pickles? Smoke meat poutine? It's all good....

That being said Sarah and Judy are absolutely fabulous and will serve you your much needed drink and if the mood is too mellow for you, hop on upstairs where the music is vibing and Heidi and Kiki are there to make your evening bliss.

The place you go to have pub food and get beers which are relatively cheap. The specials are decent too! They usually play classics and have sports on the TV. If you're into that sort of thing, it's a great hangout.
